Customer *** *** did set up an appointment for a lick installation and had agreed upon have a MulT lock deadbolt installed as she stated in her complaintIn order to properly install this bolt the technician needed to drill fresh holes into the door and door frameBefore the tech began
the installation- the customer nor anyone else in the building-did not inform him of any electrical wiring belonging to the doorbell being embedded into the doorframeFrankly, the electrician that installed the doorbell wiring in this customers building in her apartment and others- is clearly unprofessional; that is not the correct place to have wiring so close to the frame surfaceWe offered her to bring a professional electrician to give her expert advice in the matter and offered to pay for his service call if he says that the wiring is in the correct locationShe did not take us up on our offer. Furthermore, the customer admitted that her door to her apartment was in bad shape even before the technician installed her lock, and stated that her building management would be changing her door in the futureThe door's poor condition obviously added to the fact that the lock never was in fully working condition.
The customer readily paid for her services and understood that she needs to have her door repaired in order for her lock to functionWe were unable to issue *** *** the refund she requested since we already performed the services and gave her her lock- which she still possesses
