Review: This contractor did a lousy job renovating my apt and walked off the job before it was finished because he mismanaged the finances. He is slow, doesn't pay his subcontractors, and does sloppy, sloppy stone work, which he claimed was his expertise. He chipped the marble floors and trim under 2 vanities in 2 different bathrooms, so now I have to replace tiles when I replace vanities. He didn't level one floor well enough so now my marble tiles are cracking. He can barely read and write and doesn't keep receipts to back up his claims. He also won't return my repeated calls and didn't stick to the payment plan we arranged. He's a crook and a liar.Desired Settlement: I'd like him to fix my floors and install new vanities in 2 of the 3 bathrooms he renovated. My kitchen cabinets are also not hung well/strait but I don't think anything can be done about that.
