What unfortunate circumstances, it would have been kind of Mr [redacted] to let us have a look at the plug and pan to see if it was really needed We at our shop are aware of [redacted] 's aggressive sales practices Currently we have a vehicle in our shop that was there for recall and their list of repairs were over stated This vehicle is equipped with a steel oil pain which if there was a problem, would accommodate rethreading, which is standard practice in the industry After seven years and 175,miles, I could understand a worn drain plug, which is softer metal than the oil pan threads and needing to be replaced So in all fairness to both parties we at M.E"Gene" Johnson Garage are willing to pay half of the disputed amount Sincerely, [redacted]
