Review: Around Christmas of 2013, my father ordered me a starter for my truck, as a gift. The starter functioned beautifully for about a year and a half, after which is started exhibiting heat-soak like symptoms. Should be no problem, as there is a two year warranty on starters made by Mean Green. I contacted Mean Green through their website on May 26, 2015 trying to initiate a warranty exchange, and received an email reply from Jerry the following day advising me to check a number of things which I had already tested. I responded as such and received no response. On June 8, I sent another email to see if I had gotten lost in the shuffle. Still no response. I have worked for businesses that have issues with online communication, so I tried calling several times. I spoke to an employee once, who took my name and contact info, and told me that a warranty guy would call me back. The other couple times I believe I left messages. On May 15th of this year, I tried emailing them again, to no avail.Desired Settlement: All I want is for Mean Green to explain why I haven't received any correspondence back, and replacement of the starter I purchased which failed during the two year warranty period, or at least a clear explanation of why the failure is not covered by the warranty.
