Review: Took a motorhome in for a fuel pump. They installed it and it was running. Then they had the motor apart saying timing chain was an issue, informed to put a new one on since it was tore apart. Took many months for me to pay for this procedure. Finally paid it off and does not run they saying it is valves. Says pay 75 hr for them to run a compression check. So pulled motor home out of facility. Does not run at all.Desired Settlement: Would like my money back for the timing chain since it wasn't that 600.00. He can keep his money for doing what I asked on the fuel pump. I need to take it to another mechanic.

[redacted] brought in a motor home on 5/11/12 that had been sitting and had not run for some time. He wanted our facility to check it of which we found it had a bad fuel pump. We replaced it for a total of $403.37 that he had agreed to at that time he paid $300.00. Several days later we had to move the vehicle and it died and would not start. I told [redacted] about the problem and told him what we thought it had a bad timing chain. He gave us permission to check it and repair it for the amount of $499.50. Since that time it has been parked at our facility since 5/25/12. He had made no effort or communication to pay the bill until 10/21/12 of which was $300.00 and paid it off on 2/8/13 and wanted to pick it up. When we went to start it would not start and had a popping noise at that time I told him what was going on and that it was probably a problem in the engines valves and that they must be sticking from sitting to long. [redacted] declined any further repair. The vehicle sat at our facility for a total of 8 months. We (MJC) guarantee our work and as to my knowledge the work that we preformed was done correctly and is still correct.
