We received an internet lead from Mr. [redacted] on December 28th, 2016 through [redacted] concerning the vehicle he was interested in. In our response to his inquiry, the internet sales associated replied that particular vehicle had been sold, but we had similar vehicles in stock including new [redacted]....

The same day the customer called the dealership and spoke to one of our sales consultants, Oile, that stated the particular vehicle was still available. Oile assumed the vehicle was still here because it was still displayed on our website and in our system. He neglected to go physically touch the vehicle to verify the vehicle was here and available to sell, which it was not because it had already been purchased. Our Ford General Manager, Anson J[redacted], talked to the guest an apologized for our lack of communication and the inconvenience. We are sending Mr. [redacted] and his wife a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant to again apologize for the situation. We hope to have an opportunity to serve the [redacted] family in the future.
