There was an yard concrete "pour" at XXXXX *** *** Spencerville, IndianaThis was performed in two sessions largely due to the size of the pour
1) Morning pour
2) Afternoon pour
All appropriate measures and industry standards were applied to the applicationThe concrete mix was a higher grade than the normFor the entire driveway pour, a PSI mix was usedDue to weather conditions a 1/2% accelerator material was added to the mix in the morning pourThis is the lowest level typically used on a sliding scale of 1/2% to 6%Due to improving weather conditions, it was not needed nor added in the afternoon sessionThe driveway, at the subject address, was floated, finished and cut in conformance with industry standards
*** *** the concrete supplier, has been purchased by Irving Materials, Inc., who maintains *** *** recordsRepresentatives of Irving have reviewed the delivery records and have been to the job siteThey have found no deficiencies in the concrete quality nor the installationIt was stated by Mark ***, Irving Materials quality control Manager, that *** *** sold concrete by strength, not colorEvery day will yield a different color depending on weather conditions, chemicals added as well as water added on-site
This job was not bidMr*** effectively acted as his own contractorThe price negotiated by Mr*** and agreed by Mr*** was cost of materials plus $/ square foot to pour and finishThis was a wholesale price normally reserved for contractorsThe retail price normally ranges on a sliding scale up to $2.00/ square foot, depending on the size of the pourMr*** insisted on reviewing each and every material ticket and other receipts prior to accepting and paying for the final work product
Contrary to the allegations, there was never a promise to pay $as there never was a defect attributed to M L Concrete' performanceAt the time of completion, Mr*** expressed satisfaction
with the work productHowever at a later date, Mr*** expressed displeasure with the appearanceThe project was inspected by Martin *** M L Concrete, and found to be in compliance with industry standardsOn a subsequent non-driveway pour at the same address, Mr*** was billed $on and to date has made only a partial payment of $3425.99, leaving a $deficiency
M L Concrete would do nothing to risk our reputation for service and qualityWe provide several large local homebuilders with concrete services on their newly constructed homesWe have an excellent reputation with them and wish to maintain a reputation for quality for years to come
If further information is need to resolve this matter in an amicable fashion, we will be happy to provide that to you on requestThis matter has no merit in fact and we wish to resolve this as quickly as possible

I had a meeting with ML concrete at his house and we made an agreement for $a square foot and to prove that, he sent me the invoice for $He tried to rip me off by sending me an invoice for $a square footFor that reason I Subtracted the difference and sent him a check with the amount as well as endorsing it on the back starting "paid in Full" and he cashed the checkI have several issuers with ML Concrete's workThe first issue is that the driveway is not one color and extremely noticeableSecond of all there are several of cracks on my driveway and it has been less than a yearThird of all there are several pits and holes in the concreteML Concrete came over to my house to check out the problems and he admit that he didn't use a certain material which causes the discolorationI trusted ML Concrete because I don't know much about concrete and now when it rains the water is leaking through the concrete and I don't know where its coming fromOnly thing I need from ML Concrete is to come and correct their problems or money back to fix the issuesI would like to solve this matter before it gets out of handI have pictures to support my problems or you can send a PROFESSIONAL concrete company to support the issues as well
