M & L IMPORTS N YORK RD ELMHURST, IL [redacted] This is in responds to Debra [redacted] complaint: 10-4- Debra [redacted] did purchase a Suzuki Forenza Vin# KL5JD56Z37Kon 9-28-16, she was fully aware she purchased this vehicle AS-IS, we offered her an extended warranty purchase but she she declinedMs [redacted] did call us and say her vehicle was overheating and we suggested she tow it back in to us and we would service her vehicle and cover all labor but she would have to cover the tow and all her partsWe have offered this to her on several occasions but she has declined GINO [redacted] OWNER

We are willing to do all repairs and cover the laborThe tow and parts will be at the customers costAll of our customers are offered a extended warranty at the time of purchase, this would be no different. My apologies if you don't recall the offerWe are so sorry this purchase didn't work out for youPurchasing a used car is always a riskPlease let us know if you want to take advantage of us doing the repairs on your vehicle

We did have a issue with our bank but this has been since taken care of and settled with the customer. Thank You

Although...

the business did not agree to pay the return check fee associated with the return check, another check was issued and I went to the bank on the check given to cash it. I did not place it in my account.

I am rejecting this response because: Gino,  I am offended that you would actually say that I don't remember being asked about a warranty.  I remember every detail of that day because I journaled the events of the day.  I arrived at the dealership at 11:00 am.  I was presented my first set of paperwork at 11:30am.and you promptly took my money. I asked for an oil change which you did.  I waited over 2 1/2 hrs for an oil change.  I had to leave for work and so my fiancé stayed and waited for the car.  He left your dealership at 2:30pm.  The car broke down at 3:10pm.As a Veteran and a Department of Defense employee, I am appalled at your business practices which includes lying not only to me but to the Revdex.com and its readers.  You NEVER offered a warranty, you NEVER made conversation with us (only sign here), you NEVER took my call when we were stranded and you NEVER offered any assistance with the vehicle.I WILL NOT be putting in thousands of dollars for a new engine into this vehicle.  I would have purchased a better vehicle if I had that money.  When your mechanic did the oil change he would have seen signs of distress to the vehicle and yet you continued on with the sale.  You got your money as I was just another sale.  People spend their hard earned money in your dealership and you should go out of your way to satisfy them....isn't that what customer service is all about?  I will accept nothing less than an apology and a full refund.  I now have 5 mechanics with 75 yrs of true mechanical knowledge with major dealers that have all come to the same conclusion.  The engine was and IS junk.  These mechanics and dealers can't even understand how you can scam people the way you do.  Like I said earlier...my only acceptance will be an apology AND a FULL REFUND.
