Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:On 2/24/17, very soon after submitting a complaint to Revdex.com, I received a phone call from Astral Energy representative, [redacted] BadilloUnlike my past experience, she was pleasant and wanted to resolve my problemShe quoted a reimbursement of $for electric and $for the January/February billsDuring this call, she played me a recording of what was supposed to be my mother stating her name as consent for servicesWhoever they recorded, was clearly not my mother and was actually saying her name in a different language and pronunciationI don't know how this company gets away with this kind of fraudulent, unethical practiceBecause I have been lied to several times, I would prefer not to cancel my complaint until I see it has been finally resolved by receiving the refund on my next bill and the future adjustment until the services are finally canceledRevdex.com, I appreciate your assistance in this matterThank you! Attached is the recording of customer [redacted] [redacted] authorizing to be switched to Astral Energy LLC, as per customer's requestThe recording specifically says that Astral does not guarantee savings against the utility standard offer and that the rate will vary month to monthAstral has reviewed customer's account information, the customer's account was closed on 10/24/ As a gesture of goodwill, Astral will send the customer a credit in the total amount of $ The check will be mailed to the customer but made to JCP&L to be used towards his bill

Astral acknowledges customer's concern. Attached is a recording of the customer's verbal authorization to be switched to Astral Energy LLC. Customer authorized to a variable rateAccording to customer's account, the gas account is scheduled to be canceled and returned to
the utility on 4/2/2018. Astral has no control of when the local distribution company will return the customer back to them, the local distribution informs Astral of when that will occur, the dates are mentioned above. As a gesture of goodwill Astral will re-rate the customer to the utility rate until the customer's account is returned to the utility. This issue has been resolved

Astral spoke to customer's daughter, *** *** on 2/24/ Customer's accounts are scheduled to end on 4/12/for gas and 3/14/for electricCustomer's daughter was informed that Astral has no control of the date that Local Distribution Company with have the customer's accounts
be return to them, the LDC automatically gives an end of service date when a cancellation has been processed Astral has also blocked the customer's accounts As a gesture of goodwill, customer will receive a credit on her bill. Matter was taken care of internally with the customer's daughter

Astral acknowledges customer's concern, please see attachment, the recording of customer's verbal authorization. Astral added customer's phone number on Astral's internal Do Not Call List on March 1, 2018.This issue has been resolved

Astral acknowledge's the customer's concerns, however, the recording clearly states that Astral does not guarantee savings against the utility standard offer. The customer did properly authorize to enroll to a variable rate that varies month to month. Astral offers all residential customers a variable rate which means there is no contract and the customer can cancel at any time with no termination fee. As a gesture of goodwill, Astral has sent the customer a credit in the total amount of $20. Copy of the check sent is attached below

Astral Energy's customer relations spoke to customer on 10/12/ Customer was informed that she will be receiving a credit Customer was satisfied with this informationA copy of the letter and check mailed to customer is attached below This issue has been resolved

gives an end of service date when a cancellation has been processed. Astral has also blocked the customer's account. As a gesture of goodwill, customer will receive a credit on her bill. Matter was taken care of internally with the customer's daughter

Astral Energy has attempted to contact customer to no avail. Astral has investigated this account and has found that customer was inadvertently enrolled. Astral does not have the control of when the account will be put back to customer's local utility company. The end of service
date is generated by the utility company, however; customer's account has been rated as per PSEG's rate until the customer is put completely back with PSEGAs stated Astral Energy has no control of the end of service date, that is generated by the local utility company. This issue has been resolved

I am rejecting this response because:On 2/24/17, very soon after submitting a complaint to Revdex.com, I received a phone call from Astral Energy representative, [redacted] Badillo. Unlike my past experience, she was pleasant and wanted to resolve my problem. She quoted a reimbursement of $73.19 for electric  and $150.67 for the January/February bills. During this call, she played me a recording of what was supposed to be my mother stating her name as consent for services. Whoever they recorded, was clearly not my mother and was actually saying her name in a different language and pronunciation. I don't know how this company gets away with this kind of fraudulent, unethical practice. Because I have been lied to several times, I would prefer not to cancel my complaint until I see it has been finally resolved by receiving the refund on my next bill and the future adjustment until the services are finally canceled. Astral spoke to a gentlemen on 8/5/216, who knew about the situation.  The gentlemen explained that Ms. [redacted] was not home but he could talk on her behalf because he was aware of what had occurred.  On behalf of Ms. [redacted], gentlemen expressed his concerns and frustration of what...

happened.  I informed him that I have looked in the system to see if the account was switched, but customer was never switched to Astral.  I also informed customer that I have e-mailed Astral's sales reps. to refrain from misleading customers into signing up with Astral.  I have also internally blocked customer from ever being enrolled with Astral and put customer's number on the internal DO NOT CALL LIST.  Customer was not happy with the resolution.
