M & M Estates Reviews (3)

When looking at an Estate Sale company, you need to consider if the company may be charging too LITTLE for your estate items, or too much for them Obviously, a company that charges too little for your items is not getting you maximum proceeds for you But a company that charges too MUCH does the same thing Oh, you'll get more money for certain items, BUT so many items will go unsold M&M charges WAY too much for items in my opinionI am very familiar with what many items sell for at estate sales, and M&M is grossly overpriced An uninformed family may like that the company appears to be getting maximum proceeds for you, but in fact they are not I personally gave up going to ANY M&M sales as a buyer They are a waste of time for me Beware of a company that owns a RETAIL STORE What is a company's motivation to sell your items for a lower price during your sale, (and take their small percentage in commission) when they can buy up all of your unsold items at the end of the sale for pennies on the dollar? Those same items can then go onto the shelves of the company's store, and they get 100% of the proceeds AND those items can sit for as long as the company needs in order to sell them at a maximum price You need to hire a company that charges a SENSIBLE price to get rid of almost ALL of your items by the end of your or day sale If you end up with way too many items at the end, then the company is charging too much Then if the company offers to buy out all of your remaining items for a ridiculously-low price...and those items end up on their store shelves, then who made the most money from your estate sale? I DO NOT SUGGEST THAT M&M IS DOING THIS They do have a store in Toledo If you want to avoid all appearance of this happening, then make arrangements to sell ALL of your remaining items at the end of your sale to a company OTHER than the company holding your sale THEN you will get a company that is motivated to sell your items for you DURING YOUR SALE

*** and her staff are awesome! In a recent experience, one of her male assistants asked if he could fold my bedspread!!! And he was so kind and helpful by carrying my merchandise for meI believe that management starts at the topWhen one looks at *** staff, clearly they are a reflection of her!!!
