I am rejecting this response because: I disagree w/ the content of M&M's reply - it's inaccurate. Once again, there was no phone contact from, or to, M&M Fence after Nov13, Thus, no one called me to say that someone would be by to powerwash in preparation to apply the stain If M&M called someone, it wasn't meSo, I never TOLD them to not come back, as M&M statedPHONE RECORDS TELL THE TRUTH! Nine days after that last communication, after no response from M&M Fence, I decided th0at enough was enough, thus I filed the Revdex.com complaintAs stated in the initial complaint, the desired outcome stated that" the best resolution is for a mutual agreement between M&M Fence and myself, that M&M Fence be released from that portion of the contract...." Also, that M&MFence was to write up that agreementI NEVER received any paperwork in that regard, hence I didn't contract the staining with another party, as I didn't want to be accused of breach of contract.That is still my desire--the staining is to be withdrawn from the contract, by mutual agreement I'd like to have that in writing, as originally requested in Nov 2017.M&M's latest reply states that I was not charged for the powerwashing or staining -- of course not, because neither was completed! I am willing to pay the worker for hrs of work fir the PARTIAL powerwashing he did, at $8.25/hr, which is minimum wage in IL (that would be $33.00)Since my water bill increased due to the incomplete powerwash and the fact that the ENTIRE fence will need to be powerwashed prior to staining, I'm not willing to offer more

I am rejecting this response because: M&Ms response is vague & inaccurate (took them days to respond)As previously clarified I was told that the fence would be stained in spring of 2017, after the boards had had time to dry & temp was above As this was an incompleted contract until the staining was done, I expected it to be done in the springI NEVER expected it to be done immediately, as M&Ms response impliesYet time and time and time again, every time I sought to get this scheduled, I was given empty promises that he'd "get back to me." He also states that I did not contact them about not staining the fence...what?...I don't even know what he's talking aboutAll I meant in the initial complaint was that I knew someone willing to do the work, since I'd been getting the run-around for more than six monthsThe Revdex.com complaint was made, due to severe lack of communication, BEFORE anyone came to do power washingI was NOT contacted by M&M Fence after Nov 13, - to give me definitive dates for power washing or stainingHe claims he left me a message in that regard & that I never called him back...NEVER HAPPENEDThe person(s) who came to start the power washing, walked off the job w/o completing itM&M claims I never paid them for the workI paid them for the fenceNo invoice was ever presented for the INCOMPLETE power washing.I kept very good notes about this situation, as noted in the original complaint, with dates, times, etc

First the real story is when we built her fence falls ago, she wanted it stainedI told her we could do it, but it would not be right awayIt would be within the next yearIt was listed in the contract, but again it wasn’t listed to be done immediatelyIt is not something we do every day, I
told her it will be when we can squeeze it inThe next year came we were very busyMy employee went out in Nov to start power-washing the fenceThen out of nowhere she made the complaint with the Revdex.comWe were totally up front with her from the beginning and told her it would be a whileAs far as her contacting us about not staining the fence, she did not contact usI even called her and left her a message about staining the fence and she never called us backShe never paid us for the work, so wrongdoing was done there

We did call her and talk to her each time she tried to call us. We sent a guy out to start power wash because it was supposed to be stained. She was not charged for the power washing or the staining. She was going to pay $400 to have us stain the fence. I called her to let her know we would be power washing it. She did not call me back to let us know she did not want us to finish the job. She instead contacted Revdex.com. We need to know what she wants at this point. If she still wants us to stain the fence then the power washing would be free. We are confused on what she actually wants because she is the one that told us not to come back. If she would like to contact me to talk to me personally I am more than willing.

Fences can settle over time. Ground could be wet, drainage issues, or just wet land..  It is not my fault that fence moved 6 moths later. Competition always will say their way is better.  I have been doing fence for 30 years.   M & M fence never said they would concrete...

post.  Concrete tends to hold water in the post and will rot off at bottom.   We charge additional for concreting post.  If customer wanted concrete, they should have stated.
