First, we sincerely wish the best for Mr. [redacted] and his family.  Health is always a primary concern and managing a neurological disease is a tall task.  Second, we apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred over the four business...

days M&M represented this Client in front of the IRS.  Mr. [redacted] hired M&M Financial April 1, 2016 to help him resolve his business’s federal payroll tax liabilities.  He paid M&M $2,000 to begin work that same day.  When a client hires M&M as their Power of Attorney, we take over the communication with the IRS.  That is why we are hired and why Mr. [redacted] was advised that M&M would be communicating with the IRS Revenue Officer assigned to the case moving forward.  Upon speaking with the Revenue Officer, we were advised that she had been working the case since May 2015 and our Client was not filing the necessary tax returns or making the necessary employment tax deposits.  Without current tax compliance, the IRS will not consider a formal resolution to a back tax liability, and instead will move forward with enforced collection of the tax.  Mr. [redacted] did in fact submit a Protest of the Proposed Trust Fund Recovery Penalty Assessment.  He signed the Protest April 5,2016 and M&M submitted it to the Revenue Officer on his behalf that same day.  Mr. [redacted] also submitted form 941-X 4th Quarter 2015.  He signed the return April 6, 2016 and M&M submitted it to the Revenue Officer on his behalf that same day.  Due to a missing 1120 2015 tax return, an incorrectly filed 941 4th quarter 2015, pyramiding employment taxes for several consecutive quarters and refusal to make current tax deposits, levies were sent to the business’s bank account.  IRS bank levies typically take a week or so from the date sent to hit a bank account.  The levies were not issued due to M&M’s involvement, action or inaction.  In fact, the levies were likely issued by the IRS prior to M&M’s involvement in the case. After a lengthy conversation with Mr. [redacted] April 5, 2016 to explain the importance of immediate tax compliance, we felt we weren’t able to make the necessary progress with him on this front.  M&M closed this case and refunded the Client’s payment in full April 6, 2016, prior to this complaint being submitted to the Revdex.com.  The full refund was delivered to Mr. [redacted] April 11, 2016 via USPS. With all of that said, we are surprised by Mr. Nico’s decision to contact the Revdex.com in regards to Customer Service Issues.  Despite the difficulty in getting through to Mr. Nico, we thought he had turned the corner and would be on his way to resolving the tax issues.  The excerpt below is from a message sent to M&M by Mr. [redacted] April 6, 2016. “I am sorry for yesterday I know it sounded like I was not taking your advice but I could not seem to find my way past feeling [the IRS] is out to get us.  This may or may not be true but either way it is irrelevant.  We are out of compliance that was the issue you were trying to relay and for whatever reason I couldn't see it.  I see it now.”
We wish Mr. [redacted] and his business a full and speedy recovery.

It is with a lot of appreciation that I recommend M&M financial. l I was a little hesitant at first but they came through for me quickly and resolved my issue before I knew it. thank you Lupe Figueroa for all your help

M&M Financial has been a consistent, honest, trustworthy and proactive company
in helping us resolve our business tax issues. They have worked with us through the
ups and downs of our business and been there with us every step of the way, even
when the going got tough. They helped to provide peace of mind with their proactive
approach to our tax challenges.

I would recommend them to anyone facing tax challenges. They are straight with you
and they do not sugar coat things, they help you see and understand your options.

We have been contacted by this business, without request, for several days. The business -- and caller -- are very rude and pushy. This isn't the way to solicit business and it makes me doubt the quality of work that they might do. Very unprofessional.

I have used M & M Financial Consulting Inc a few times now. I seem to get behind with the [redacted] and the State Of [redacted] has been able to work something out with them for myself without them taking money from my bank account. I'm not sure how he does it because I'm not involved with dealing with them because [redacted] seems to do all the work.

If it wasn't for [redacted], I think I would have lost everything. I will admit, I'm scared to talk to them because I don't want to say the wrong things to them.

If you have problems with either the [redacted] or the State, you should at least give them a call. Ask for [redacted] He's the one I have always used. If you call him, he can give you my phone number and I am more then happy to talk to you.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/12) */
Contact Name and Title: [redacted], EA
Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX
Contact Email: [redacted]@mmfinancial.org
M&M Financial Consulting, Inc. (hereinafter "M&M") has never sold services to or performed services for [redacted], has...

never been paid for services by [redacted], and never had a contract to perform services for [redacted]. Furthermore, [redacted] made no attempt to contact [redacted], [redacted] or any member of M&M's management team. This Revdex.com complaint is the first time we've heard the name [redacted].
M&M has not made "daily harassing calls" to [redacted] or any business with which she may be associated. According to M&M's phone records, (XXX) XXX-XXXX was called 5/20/2014, 6/4/2014, 6/9/2014 and 6/11/2014. No representative of [redacted] or her organization has ever discussed any concern whatsoever with [redacted], [redacted] or M&M's management team regarding the marketing techniques of M&M. No attempt has been made on the part of [redacted] to resolve this matter amicably through professional discourse.
Our employees are trained to be polite, professional and courteous in all dealings with clients, prospective clients and all other individuals whom we contact. Had [redacted] advised any M&M employee to stop calling or to be put on M&M's Do Not Call list, we would have done so immediately, according to M&M's standard policy and procedure.
M&M encourages anyone who has a legitimate concern related to our business practices to contact [redacted] or [redacted] directly, as addressing said concerns quickly is our primary imperative. The current [redacted] issue has been discussed companywide, and our fundamental policy of professional and courteous service has been reiterated to each employee.
M&M does not make further contact with those businesses that advise us that our services are not required as doing so would squander company time, financial investment, and other resources. Prospective clients need inform M&M only once that its services are not required, and the corresponding lead and all client contact information is placed on our Do Not Call list.
There are more than fifty tax resolution companies that actively pursue businesses with tax liens. Unfortunately, many of them engage in marketing practices that are intensely rude and aggressive. It is highly likely that [redacted] has linked the constant calls of our tactless counterparts to phone calls from M&M on the dates listed above. That said, M&M encourages any representative of [redacted] to contact [redacted] or [redacted] to discuss this issue further.
M&M as a company is disappointed that [redacted] has filed such a baseless and unfounded complaint with the Revdex.com. This is not a consumer complaint as neither [redacted] nor her organization engaged M&M for its services. [redacted] has never been a client of M&M. Again, no owner or member of M&M's management team has ever spoken with [redacted]. Moving forward, M&M maintains no contact information for [redacted]. The telephone number above has been placed on our Do Not Call list. M&M will continue to maintain its high ethical business standards of honesty, integrity, courteousness and professionalism.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2014/06/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Everything they are saying is true except that I did ask them each time they called to remove my number and do not call me again. The calls kept coming, and were so annoying. Thank you for getting their attention to stop calling me.

I have worked with M&M Financial, particularly [redacted] for many years. Hiring M&M was the best business decision I ever made. [redacted] has been a life savor for my business. He has handled any, and every issue I had arise, within a very prompt, and professional manner. I would highly recommend M&M financial for any tax issue, or problem one might have. They have been a first class company to work with.

Good company. Very knowledgable and professional. Always returned calls and made theirselves available when you needed them. I would use them again if I needed them.

I worked with M&M financial after discovering that an accountant had dropped the ball on filing our income taxes on time (The IRS informed me of this when they mailed me a substantial penalty). I elected to use M&M's self-help service. This meant that M&M would provide guidance but I would have to make the phone calls and write the letters myself. It also meant I had to manage and track all of the paperwork involved. Mason at the Ashland office was a great help in listening to the back story, advising on strategy, and equipping me with knowledge to handle the situation. 2.5 years later, and I still hear from M&M occasionally to check in and catch up. They have also been great about answering follow-up questions I have occasionally had. Based on the knowledge and peace of mind I gained through the process, and the fact that the savings in tax & penalty dollars are several multiples of the small fee I paid to M&M, their service is a ridiculously good value.
