We apologized to customer for not giving him a written estimate for the patio door rather than a ball park verbal quoteOn a written estimate it would have clearly shown the current promotion along with the regular retail pricing

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was not the client who purchased the windows, and again, I was under the assumption that the lifetime warranty would transfer from the seller of this house to me. I do not understand how the windows can become "out of warranty" from someone who prides themselves on taking great care of their home, and did nothing to cause a window to "fog up." The window was defective and it's very sad that this company isn't willing to replace them. When they mentioned that they would be happy to replace glass but would need to charge for parts and labor, no quote was ever given. This isn't how to "sell windows that are supposedly the best" and get homeowners to convince others to purchase Gilkey windows. As much as I do like the windows, I would NOT recommend them to anyone because of the poor customer service and lack of assistance that I have received

Unfortunately we can't give lifetime warranties to homeowners that move into a Gilkey Window houseThe lifetime warranty is given to the Original PurchaserIt's explained to our clients at the time of purchase that the warranty is for the lifetime of the Original Purchaser as long as they live in the homeSince the Original Purchaser sold the home the lifetime warranty no longer applies and therefore the windows are out of warranty.We would be happy to replace the glass but we need to charge for parts and labor since the windows are out of warranty

We need to have an acceptable date by which the windows will be installed as per our original agreement for which we made a down payment in July of 2016.

This was a [redacted] window service we were doing for this customer not a Gilkey Window.  We have all parts re-ordered on 6/12 and we have requested a rush on the order.  Due to the fact that these were geometric shapes we made a human error on the sizing and thus caused the delay....

 We will notify the customer directly once they arrive and work with them on a reduction in the cost of the final balance for their inconvenience.
