INDIGO has contacted the Customer directly and made amends for this parking system error (timeclock discrepancy) and the approach of our onsite staff to her initial onsite complaint. An excerpt of our written response follows:

assured that this was not a malicious scam on our part to generate additional revenue but rather a technical error we are very pleased to have been made aware of. The time being slow, rather than generating more revenue, has indeed the completely opposite effect due to our early bird special. This special provides a $[redacted] discount to individuals arriving before 9am. As the time was behind this meant individuals who were arriving after 9am in real time were getting the discount when they should not have been. We have addressed the time discrepancy and will be closely monitoring the clocks to make sure the issue does not re-occur."
"We are truly embarrassed by the poor behaviour of our onsite staff and hope that this will not ruin your memories of your time here in [redacted] or our organization as a whole. I have investigated the situation and found that the onsite staff behaved in an unacceptable manner, unbecoming of our companies values. We will be providing this staff member with sensitivity training and a refresher course on the Indigo values and policies."
