I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Pretty much every thing that was in the response from M&R Automotive is and now they are providing you with informationSince I received this correspondence we have contacted *** Insurance Coand they have agreed to help us in proving M&R Automotive has done nothing but lie and be dishonestThe *** agents name is *** *** and her # is ###-###-#### and she wishes for the Revdex.com to contact her so she can confirm that the statement M&R Automotive made to the Revdex.com is and misleadingAfter repairs were done M&R, either did not test drive the car like they stated or they did and ignored the items that needed to be fixed And were done at another repair shop the ABS light and tire pressure sensor were never reset, had the car been test driven after repairs they would of IMMEDIATLEY seen it and should of fixed it! The other problem with the car after repairs, There were nuts from the strut mount were it was replaced left in the car between the mount cover and under where the strut was mounted, causing a banging noise in which if it was test driven would of been noticed again IMMEDIATLYAgain if M&R test drove the car then like they claimed to you they did? then they knowingly released the car with out it being properly fixed! the other repair shop gave me the nuts to show proof of them leaving them in the carAgain I am not sure of a course of action against M&R Automotive to take? But hopefully with the help from *** and the information I provided some sort of action can be taking against M&R Automotive. Regards, *** ***

This is in response to the complaint on ll/28/id # ***To whom this may concern,Our business towed Pontiac from an accident scene on 12/22/It was undecided where to take the vehicle, the tow truck driver suggested our shopThe driver had the car brought to our shopand said we should be able to fix it in a week and give customer a discount 10% on laborAt time of incident the tow truck driver thought it maybe was only an axle and that could be done in a weekAftera tech looked at vehicle the damage was more than just an axleAt that point the insurance company was called by customerThe insurance adjuster came and looked at the vehicleWhen the insuranceadjuster came the first time it was on 12/26/to look at the car, it was outside buried in snow in our tow lot with a foot of snow around carThe insurance adjuster wanted us to get the vehicle inside andput it up on a lift to check fur further damage to make a final estimateAt that point we told her it would be a few days before we had a chance to get the vehicle inside to take apartWe had a lot ofwork scheduled to get done beforeBecause this vehicle did not move on its own we had to bring it in on a tow truck and dolly it on to a hoist because of the damage on left front wheelWe knew it would tiea hoist up for a few days and couldn't tie the hoist up before thatThe adjuster came in for second inspection on the 01/02/During that time and up to when the vehicle was towed in and whenfinished, the customer called several times and was verbally abusive Mr *** was using profanity (his wife was a little better) and being very rude with my staff (service writer) demanding the vehicle beworked on and completed now so the son could: go back to collegeWith the holidays at that time we were closed a few daysWe do our best to accommodate our customers with the best service possibleand minimal down timeI have been in business for a number of years, without any complaintsAs soon as the adjuster got done looking at the vehicle with a final estimate we were able to order the parts asper her estimate for the repair and damage on vehicle and get started with the repairsWe completed the repair in the estimated time the insurance company figured it would take for the repairsWe had toadd a couple of items on estimate as we found needed to complete the jobWhen an insurance company writes an estimate they tell you how much time and how much they will pay for labor andwhat margin they will allow on parts markup which is usually quite a bit lower than your regular labor rate and part profit marginOn this insurance claim the labor was far below our rate as the partsare at a discounted rateIf he needed a rental car he should have had the insurance company get him oneWhen you deal with an insurance claim things don't always go real quick it does take some time toget estimates and paperwork done phone calls etcWe did exactly what was required to finish repairsThere was no grease on vehicle when it left our shop it had road and salt grime on itThere wasa brown spot of mud or dirt on top of left front fender it wasn't greasel wiped it offNo I did not wash the vehicle after repairs were doneAs far as any lights or noise in the car we only took for a short drivedidn't notice any lights or noiseThen again we only repaired left front wheelWe have never worked on this vehicle before and don't know any vehicle maintenance or history of itSome of these problemscould of been there alreadyThere was no more damage done to vehicle, if there was it was from the incidentThe insurance adjuster was there when it was on hoist and she did not noticed any damage wedid to vehicle, I have no idea what damage he is talking aboutIf there are any problems with parts, they carry a month warranty and used parts carry a warrantyAs far as any discounts on any labor wealready gave to customer from all the discounted insurance rates for the repair. I would have given him the discounts off my regular customer paid bill as we offeredBut not the insurance companyThey already got the 10% discountHe was responsible to pay the deductible of his insurance claimI did have him pay the in cash because I didn't trust taking a check or credit card from someone that unreasonable and argumentary about the whole situationI know Mr and Mrs *** were very unreasonable with the Insurance adjusterI don't believe anyone could satisfy themI wish not to deal with that type of personSincerely, Mark Owner M&R Automotive Service Center Inc

On the day of my son's accident we were told that on top of having the car in a week they would give us a 10% discount for giving them our businessUpon picking the car up on Jan5, we were told that we would not receive any discount and we now had to pay our deductible of $in cash
because we filed a complaint with the Revdex.comWhen they brought the car out to us their was and still is grease all over the front quarter panel where they were workingAlso there is now damage to the quarter panel where there was not before ( I have pictures of before and after to prove M&R did this)I said something to the owner about all the grease and he got nasty with me telling me he was tired of my st and to get out of hereWhile driving home in less than miles lights came on 1) ABS and 2) tire pressure sensorthere is also a banging noise from the front as wellWe called our insurance company for help, and she gave a name of a place to take itSaturday morning we brought the car to the shop, the repair shop told us that the body damage was from a lift when the car was being worked onM&R Automotive has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with, and something should be done to them for being dishonestAgain I am not sure of a course of action for them? but maybe some kind of discredit?
