Our used vehicles do come with a day /mile powertrain warranty, whichever comes firstThe Jeep was taken by our manager to
Transmission Exchange and nothing was found wrong with the vehicle
The Jeep was also taken to Transmission Exchange and they do not work on standard transmissions but he was checking the transfer case to see if it was shifting correctly
Both vehicles were looked at and nothing was found wrong at that time

To our recollection, this vehicle did indeed have some very minor cosmetic concerns, and we made attempts for repairs, which cost the dealership directlyBoth attempts were unsatisfactory to the customerBeing a black vehicle and new paints
that are available, it would be very difficult if not impossible to produce a perfect end productThe vehicle did have miles on it when purchased, which means it had been driven someTherefore it may have some minor cosmetic flawsWe feel our efforts have gone beyond reasonable actionCustomer has even come back to the dealership to "trade out" of the vehicle, but this is not possible at this timeThe dealership will make no offer of a price reduction or credit toward the purchase of the vehicle and no further repairs or attempts to repair these concerns will me made, and will be limited to honoring the requirements of the warranties offered on the vehiclethank you

Wendy spoke to customer on the phone, and explained to Mrs*** the confusion regarding title & lien release. Originally Mrs*** was financed thru "*** ***", but our office manager mistakenly placed the lien at "*** ***".We did receive the lien release via
*** *** this morning 10/18/17, and we contacted customer. She can now obtain her title from State of Missouri.Customer agrees that issue is resolved

I am providing an update as requested to the status of repair for the Buick Park Avenue that belongs to customer referenced in case XXXXXXAs of 4/14/2017, the customer's vehicle has been repaired and returned to himWe had a technician
that did not follow proper repair steps which contaminated the engine oil by allowing engine coolant in the engine oilWhen primary repairs were completed the engine failed due to improper lubrication from the contaminated oilWe proceeded to locate another engine for the customer's car to correct the errorThere was very limited availability of used options and we chose the best possible scenario to take care of the situationThe customer and I spoke about the time frame of this situation and he said that time was not an issue, that he wanted it fixed rightWe spent additional time to replace all external gaskets, seals and transferred over all of his external engine components from the old engine to the replacement one to limited any further outside conditions to cause failureWe are also providing additional warranty coverage beyond what the used provider was willing to offer as a courtesy to the customer, extending up to monthsThe original technician working on this vehicle is no longer employed at our facility

In reference to the above case, the contract and the amount showed owing each month on his *** *** breaks down the daily interest on their statements as a courtesy to the customers. If the payments are made a few days early then the client pays less finance charges, if late they pay more
finance charges. This is a simple interest contract, so the sooner it is paid the less finance charge he will pay. There is always a per diem on a simple interest contract. We are unable to re-finance customer contracts after being assigned to the lender, but the client can take their payoff amount, from *** ***, to their own bank if they desire, and re-finance it, but they will still be paying a daily interest on their balance, it probably won't show on their statement

Response:
Upon my review of all the sales documents it clearly shows that all terms were clearly reviewed with the customer(s). Including the price of the vehicle, the trade in allowance and finance rate. The negative equity in the trade, of course has to be refinanced and included in the deal. We have an addendum posted on all our new vehicles, which clearly indicates the additional dealer mark up we have. As far as the claim of being taken advantage of because "being two women" is preposterous at best. Our demographic of customers is predominantly women. And besides that's unethical and illegal, and we DO NOT operate that way. As far as any dealer saying it was the worst deal they've seen: I'd say they haven't seen this deal correctly. Looks like as a dealer, after paying the salesperson a minimum commission, I LOST $106.95 on the deal. I see no grounds for any type of complaint here. No settlement will be considered or entertained.
I would however be glad to supply the customer(s) with our attorney information if they'd like to discuss further.
