I feel that as weeks is very standard for such a large amount of work that I have done, and there were no contracts, agreements or documents made on the amount of time it would take, the time is irrelevant. For an hour wedding I would typically charge 1200, and I spent hours in
the hospital, an additional hours the next day in the hospital taking photos for the second session, and then again about hours for the newborn session on a weekend, in my studio, Along with uncountable editing hours, and the BEAUTIFUL photos I have provided, that accurately reflect my work, I feel a refund would be rediculous! I offered to do additional editing immediately, they refused, and I apologized and said I could do nothing more. after this, Kayla proceeded to harass me through several other people including herself, her husband, and her mother, and I had to block all of them from all sources of social mediaThey then bashed myself, my family, and my buisness all over Facebook, and I began recieving death threats etc from these people she has shared this false, and blown out of proportion information withI feel Kayla had done enough damage, to myself and my buisness, without recieving money from me that she is absolutely not entitled to get! I provided the service I agreed to provided and I stand behind the work I provided

To clarify the times that Mercedes has reported, she was at the hospital for the hours as she requested to beThere were multiple occasions I had asked her if she wanted to leave and come back, she declinedThe hour session the next day is also falseShe let us know she would only be there from 10:00-11:or 11:as she had another obligation that dayThere was no way she could have been there for three hours as we had visitors from 12:00pm-7:00pm that dayAdditionally, she mentions time is not relevant in my case..so would that not pertain to hers as well? She also continues to mention how expensive her services areIf she had expected that monetary compensation, she should have asked for itThe rates given to us at $were rates that Mercedes created from her own free willThe rates of her wedding sessions have nothing to do with the rates she had given meThis is truly irrelevantI understand she stands behind her work however, as a customer that paid for a session, I went into the business transaction expecting a product that was not delivered to my specificationsI know that Mercedes had offered to redo the editing however, we were not satisfied at her attempt, as well as she called our request "more than insulting" and "insane." We believed at that point little effort would go into correcting the issue as it was apparent she was not interested in our complaint from the beginningTo clear up her accusations of harassment; I received a message that she had been saying I was making death threatsImmediately I contacted law enforcement, went to the police station and provided every conversation that had happened on the original review on social media, the conversations between Mercedes and I regarding this matter, and the conversations between my mother and my husband with Mercedes regarding this complaintThe police officer read every conversation and documented that I, or my family in no way showed any antagonizing behavior or threatsThe threat that she is referring to was "omg I would kill this b----" a comment that was not posted by myself, and I immediately addressed the comment, had the commenter clarify the comment, apologize and asked that she reach out to Mercedes to verify her safetyI then provided this person's name to the police for Mercedes safetyThroughout this entire process I have never slandered her name via social media, nor her family'sNot to mention I do not know her family outside of a few select acquaintances that would definitely take her side over mine any day, as expectedMercedes provided two out of three great sessionsOne happened to fall shortI ask for a refund only to provide the editing that we expected by another photographer, or to redo a session to the expectations that we wantedThis has never been personal, only a business review posted on social media to let people know my experienceThis is no different than any other site that you can post reviews toI cannot help what other people may say regarding this complaint, all I can do is continue my professionalism throughout this experience and hope to resolve this maturely.
