Review: I put my trust in the owner of this business hoping to purchase a QUALITY used car.I am a veteran and a Mom of two I have physical limitations so I am on a fixed income. We test drove the 2004 Subaru Legacy vehicle on the lot,was told his mechanic would complete an intense inspection of the vehicle during the week. There were no issues that presented themselves during the test drive. The next week I gave $700.00 down and was told I could make payments on $300.00 owed for the down payment of $1000.00. The remaining $5200.00 being financed.Feeling grateful I drove off the lot then check engine light came on.I took the vehicle to the nearest auto dealer to scan the codes.Purchased $329.00 worth of sensors that were needed. Later that week the exhaust began falling off in rusty pieces the exhaust was replaced at $600.00.While changing oil the oil pan bolt was seized on and needed replaced. The front tires were shredded on the inside $60.00.I complained to the owner he said he will call it even for the remaining $300.00 That I still owed for the down payment.I replaced the MAF sensor $85.00;wipers $26.00;antifreeze plus oil $45.00.Then took the car to a shop recommended on [redacted], the mechanics mentioned a familiarity with my vehicle and Vin#.This L35th Anniversary edition 2004 blue Subaru Legacy with a rare limited edition motor. The Mechanic advised me of a blown head gasket and added that MY SUBIE was the same exact car with same problem brought in RECENTLY by other owners to that shop and other shops in the area. They gave me an estimate of $1700.00 to repair the head gasket then added the motor might blow even if repairs were made. Replacing the engine would be advised. The steering needs replaced;outer tie rods;brakes;alignment;trunk lock;AC condenser;etc. I contacted the owner and told him of my expense and troubles he stated "I can see if you qualify for another vehicle with another down payment but I don't want that car back its unreliable I cannot sell it. This car didn't have a warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like a reasonable running car for the money I am paying. There is no excuse for shady business practices and taking advantage of stressed out consumers such as myself. All I wanted was what I was promised a Subaru that runs without any major problems. If I wanted to be ripped off I would have purchased from [redacted].
