M3K9 Academy, LLC Reviews (3)

Good morning Ms***,Attached is one of two emails that I am sending to you in regards to my complaintI am sending the contract of the service that was suppose to be rendered, as well as my vet bill with details of the poor condition she was in the day of the incident report, 10/19/
I have not been to the police station to obtain the report; is this something that you would require? I could also submit her vet summaries prior to her entering this service to compare to how she was the day of the incident. Please let me know if there is anything else I can send youThank you for all your help in this matter.*** ***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards,*** ***
Details:
According to the contract signed by myself and the owner of M3K9, Bailey (the dog to be trained), was suppose to be able to
sit, Down, Place, Heel, Recall, Free, and auto Sit at the end of the weeks training. In the contract it states I was to pick her up on March 6. Arriving on 3/6, I found the they were not expecting me, the dog was dirty and smelled and would barely sit for the current trainer (who had just been hired that week and admitted to not working with Bailey much) He asked me to give them until Sunday for additional training. I asked if she would be ready by then and he assured me she would be, plus she would have a bath. I agreed. Sunday when I came back, Bailey was more trained then the last time I saw her and bathed. Only with the prong collar on did she sit, down, place and heel. The recall, free, and auto sit commands were off leash and she was no way able to perform those tasks. In fact, without the prong collar pinching her, she would not respond to any command. My "in depth" training that day was minutes long. The dog was exhausted. I did not received the electronic collar, and was told this was on back order. The following week when I talked to the owner about my complaints, and the collar, he said the collar was still on back order and this was after my cancelled class. Whether the collar has now come in or not, I do not know as they have never contacted me to tell me the collar was available to be picked up. As far as me selling the dog, that should have nothing to do with her training or not. Yes I did put in the ad that the puppy received weeks of professional training but I did that prior to realizing just how much she was not trained. Also, when finally I was able to talk with the owner over a week after the supposed training, I had several pertinent questions1) the dog was to get medicine twice a day the entire two weeks. on March 6th when I arrived to pick her up and the current trainer went to go get the dog, I found Bailey's medicine on the desk where I had put it, when I drop her off. I questioned the current trainer about this and he stated he was unaware of any medication she was to get, but would give it to her asap. When I asked the owner about this, he stated that the current trainer didn't need to know about the medication, that he was giving it to the dog. I stated the bottle was still full, at which time he got irate and stated he would not argue about this, the dog had received the medication. My question is...If the owner was the only one that knew about the medication, and he was out of town for several days, how was he then able to give the medication while out of town? 2) The electronic collar. I questioned whether she had been trained using this and was told yes. I can not verify or dispute this, but I was not given the collar to go home with nor trained with it during my min" in depth" training. Over a week later, I was told the collar was still on back order and therefore did not reschedule. I figured I would wait until I was able to train with the collar. I am still owed the collar and their response letter was the first knowledge I had that it was available.. 3) During my conversation with the owner about my dissatisfaction, I stated the dog (puppy) was not trained according to the contract. He said he had told me a month old puppy may be too young to train. Question: why would I have spent my money on training at this point if it wasn't going to work. Why did he take the dog? According to the 6th paragraph of the contract, it states that if at anytime the trainer feels the dog is not suited for training they can cease training and will refund any money not used. If he felt that the dog was not able to be trained why did he then continue with the training instead of following the contract? I feel I am being very reasonable in asking for only half of the money paid back

Dear [redacted]Below is a copy of the contract as well as pictures of the messages from [redacted] canceling her follow up appointment, where she would receive her remote collar as well as instructions on how to use it properly. I will also send over a copy of the post that the dog is now forsale and [redacted] clearly states with confidence in the description that the dog has 2 weeks professional training. We do have her remote collar here that has been waiting since her cancelled appointment and she was sent home with the herm springer prong collar. If you have any further questions or need anything else from me just let me know. I will get the copy of her post for a puppy for sale to you as soon as possible.Thank you,[redacted]General Manager/ TrainerM3k9 Academy
