Still no shipping date
I'm not sure where to go since Customer Service's phone number is bad. I'm out 55 bucks and there are NOT responsive at all. I'm really not happy. Thanks for listening. We'll see I guess.

Hey guess what? It's ten minutes later and my order shipped. Guess we'll see again. Baby steps.

I have had these macarons on a subscription for a few months now. They are always great. I love the different unique flavors that they offer and the customer service has always been extremely helpful. The prices are fair and I've never been disappointed!

It says to give them some time, which I have. My friends Birthday has long come and gone and she has received nothing, I haven't even got a shipping confirmation. They won't answer their phone or respond to my emails, fb posts so I have to post here. I want my money back if they aren't going to deliver the product. That is stealing!

I placed an order from their website, and never even got a confirmation email when I placed my order. Thankfully, I took a screenshot with my order number. I contacted them several times to ask where my order was, they replied that they weren't sure when my order would be finished and shipped. It seems to me like they're selling products that arent in stock, so they can collect the cash to buy supplies to get back on their feet after the pandemic. Which would be a shame, because who knows if the people will ever get their orders, especially if the company is unable to raise the money they need to start supplying their products again. It's a shame, because they must have paid for advertising. I came across their page by a sponsored ad. So they have money to spend on marketing, but not money to spend on supplies to make the product they're selling to people. I've seen multiple people post pubilictly that they've placed orders 2+ weeks ago and still havent received their order, or even tracking for their orders. I hope this company will investigated if they're taking money to try to recuperate from the pandemic financial losses.

The product was returned to the company, I have tried for 2 weeks to contact and get a refund. They are not providing a refund & respond to email only
The Makarohn website asking for a shipping address, which I provided a valid physical address that get FedEX or UPS deliveries daily. The website DID NOT state they are using USPS for shipping purposes, therefore the address I provided was not a valid address that USPS delivers to. Therefore the product was returned. As soon as I noticed that USPS was making the delivery I called Makarohn and USPS to make a correction. I was not able to make the corrections. I then called Makarohn on several occasions, left voicemails to have them call me back to correct the situation. I did not receive a call back, even to this day. I then decided to email to see if I would get a response that way. My email response on March 13th was that the only refund I would receive is for the product only and not the shipping costs. When I responded back asking for a full refund again, all I get back are the same email responses back. Nothing that says I will receive a refund, or when. I understand that I had to put in an address to have the product delivered to, and that the address is not valid for USPS deliveries. However, I know that FedEx and UPS do not deliver to the PO Boxes. Therefore I was left with a choice that was not certain. I have the tracking number to show the product was returned to the company and the email chain that has the same response over and over again. The only response that is different is the one from March 13th. The tracking number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX showing is was delivered to Original sender. You will also see the attached email chain with the minimal responses I have received. This is the worst service I have ever received from an "online" company, and the customer service has been terrible. I can't imagine how many orders are returned and they don't refund the customer because the website fails to provide enough information to make sure you provide correct information

Desired Outcome

As I have asked before, all I am looking for is a full refund including shipping. I called and tried to come to a resolution the day before the delivery was made, and several times after that. I have done my part to communicate with Makarohn.

Our shipping provider is listed in our shipping FAQ at the bottom of the web page. Nowhere does it say we use UPS or FedEx unless requested which incurs an additional fee.

When packages are returned to us because of address issues we offer to resend the package but shipping must be paid again. As the items are perishable we do not offer refunds on orders that have to be thrown away once we receive them back.

There are recent changes to their website because of my concerns and reporting this to the Revdex.com. All this detailed information and the shipping information was updated since I have tried to contact the company because of the issues I have had. NONE of the information that is currently on their website was not there when I placed my order. This is a sign of the company trying to cover up their mistakes and not wanting to own up to the fact that they provide poor customer service. I am not content with the information provide as it has been modified in the last 24 hours.

We have always shipped with USPS, and do not have the time in the current COVID19 situation to update one portion of our website to save $50, this customer is making outrageous accusations. We can send our USPS shipping bills for the last 5 years as proof that we have always used USPS and have had it listed on our website for just as long. What's more likely? That we change an entire shipping policy to prove one point to ONE customer or that the customer simply did not read the shipping FAQ?

I do not accept the proposed resolution. The fact that I am providing facts and proof of the websites updates are not an "outrageous accusation" but simply the truth. The screenshots show the recent updates and with date stamps. I provided how anyone can find this information as well. Just because you can provide bills that the company used USPS for however many years does not prove this information was available on the website prior to March 16th 2020.
I read the FAQs on their website and the shipping policy prior to placing my order. This company is full of scams. The fact that I can't even post a bad review is more proof. If you look through the reviews not a single bad review. In fact you have to go to a third party website to find negative reviews for this company. So many negative review via Trip Advisor stating the same issues I have run into. Terrible customer service and many MANY delivery issues. The problems were never resolved or refunded. Seems like a scam to me. Maybe the website wasn't updated for ONE customer, but for the Revdex.com to make sure they looked legitimate, when in fact they are nothing close to it.

The screen shots the customer sent does not indicated that changes WERE made only that they could have been made, which they were not. We have never ever shipped using UPS or FedEx unless requested by the customer at which point we charge a higher fee as those carriers are more expensive.

We have offered to refund the product that was sent back minus the cost of shipping which is typical practice by businesses OR the customer can repay the shipping fees and have the package shipped with whichever shipping provider she prefers.

Unless the customer has a photo of the FAQ that she claims she read stating that we ship with some other carrier, which doesn't exist because this has been listed on our site un-edited for over a year, there is no proof of her claim as these screen shots don't show that any changes were made.

We could also send bank statements from our website showing the amount we have spent with other carriers to prove that USPS has been our main form of shipping since we started and that we only use other carriers when requested.

We have offered two different solutions and I refuse to let blackmailing and the looming potential negative review to bully us into giving the customer whatever she wants because she ASSUMED we shipped with another company.

We don't even offer refunds in this situation typically and have been more than accommodating.

I have provided all the facts. The company has provided information that was not available on their site at the time of purchase. Bill's don't provide proof that information was available on their website prior to March 16, 2020. I tried my best to contact the company immediately and did not receive communication until a week or more later. I reached out to try and come to a resolution, and was either turned away or ignored all the voicemails left. I will be satisfied when a full refund is approved. Thank you.

I ordered $50 worth of macaroons on 2-11-20. Today is 2-20-20 and I have still not received them. I have reached out to company with no response.
Continued from above.... this was clearly for Valentine's Day and it's been 9 days with nothing from the company on the status of my order. Why it was not fulfilled. When I log onto my account on their site it shows the order was paid but not fulfilled. My order # is XXXXXX

Didn't receive item ordered / Horrible Customer Service
I placed an order over 1 1/2 weeks ago online. I had only received a confirmation email. For the past 4 days I had been trying to get a hold of someone, anyone at the company for shipping information. I was promised delivery ON OR BEFORE Valentine's Day. I emailed, I called both telephone numbers listed, I left a message on Facebook, and I tried to chat but chat is never opened. I finally opened a dispute on Paypal since I used that as payment. Only then was a tracking number given to Paypal. Still no contact directly to me from the company. Something has been shipped using that tracking number, it could be an empty box for all I know. Since they shipped very late, this item will not show up until after Valentine's Day. The USPS tracking says it is not coming today and they do not know when it will be delivered. These are cookies. If in fact they are in the box being shipped, they will be stale. I had to purchase an alternate gift to give today. I want to be fully refunded. I want to be able to leave an honest review on this company's website. Customers cannot be defrauded like this.

I want to be fully refunded. I have not received my order as promised. I paid but have not received anything. I do not want cookies that are old and stale. Plus, Valentine's Day will be over before I get them.

Customer chose standard shipping not our valentines day reservation which was an option for a higher price. Without this shipping option the items are not guaranteed for the holiday and our standard shipping was delayed. The customer has received her package but we have no guaranteed delivery dates for standard shipping orders.

I called to inquire about shipping and placed my order while on the phone with a representative from the company. The headline at the top of the website, said free expedited shipping if I placed my order within a certain amount of time and paid for regular shipping. I confirmed with the employee that over a week was enough time and I would indeed get the expedited shipping and would receive my order before Valentine's day. We received the item late and was not able to give it as a gift. Also, it was expired and no one wanted to take a chance eating expired items. The box clearly stated PERISHABLE ITEMS. There was a white packet in the box that looked like it should have had some sort of coolant in it. It was a flat, empty, open pouch. I paid for shipping and I am not going to pay to send the rotten items back. I will now go to my credit card company and my bank and have them deal with this.
This was HORRIBLE customer service. If this company had ONE TIME replied to me by phone, email, Facebook or their own chat, NONE of this would have been an issue. I placed an order and did not get what I Paid for. This company should not be in business at all. I am going to spread the word on every forum that I can. This business and it's false practices should be sanctioned immediately and not allowed to sell in the US or anywhere else really.

Hello, to be eligible for Valentine's Day Reservations you must choose Valentine's day reservation as your method of shipping, if not, our team members see this as a standard order when Valentine's Day reservations become a priority. We apologize for the confusion of the entire reservation process. Once valentines day orders were out of the way we resumed standard orders and shipped them asap. If this order was in transit for longer than the allotted 2-4 business days, we're more than glad to ship a replacement order at no cost to the customer. We're sorry if this information wasn't made clear on our site at the time.

Ordered January 28 have yet to receive the order or response from the company when inquiries were made via email iMessage FB or phone

Company Didn't Deliver my Order as promised and asked me to donate the items. I donated them and now they don't want to refund me my $172.17!!
I order macaroons from this company for a specific holiday party date. I put in the notes on my original order these requirements and even messaged customer support about this in advance. They assured me that everything would be fine. A day or two before my party, I contacted them to inform them that the tracking number they sent me showed the items arriving after my party. I contacted them and was told it was correct....just wait patiently. Sure enough they didnt arrive for my party and I had no desserts for this huge party. I was beyond upset. I contacted the company and they agreed to refund me my entire purchase of $172.17. They never told me what to do with the perishable items that I received late. I decided to donate them to my local homeless shelter for christmas so they would go to good use. After getting back to makrohn customer service as to inquire why I haven't received my refund, they then told me to send them back (days after I donated them). I explained to them that no one told me to do this and I donated them to the homeless shelter. They agreed that this was fine and to just send them a copy of my donation receipt. I sent makrohn my donation receipt. They then tell me that they can't refund me because there isnt a signature on the receipt (of which they never asked for their to be an actual signature on the receipt). If you know anything about donating to homeless shelters they provide their form that you fill out (see attached my form they provided with the donation). They never provide signatures on these forms. For for the past month, Makrohn customer service has been giving me the run-around because they simply dont want to honor their word and refund me. They keep telling me that they are trying to contact the shelter to validate my donation for the past month now. Nothing is being done now and this is completely negligent and unacceptable on makrohn's part. Please help me resolve this issue. I have provided multiple forms of communication attached to resolve this to no avail.

Customer donated items without contacting our company and has not provided proper paperwork for the donation. We have reached out to the non profit on multiple occasions and no one has responded. For all we know the donation form is fake since it has no signature and no one at the number listed answers the phone. We have the email correspondence saying that he should return the items for a refund and the customer states that he had already donated them. You can't not return an item and still expect a refund, we are a business...

We donate to homeless shelters in our area all the time and they fill out and sign all the papers they give us because these forms are used for tax purposes. They need to be signed or anyone could write in whatever amount they want...

That Makarohn LLC told me that donating to my local homeless shelter was acceptable since the items were perishable and would be useless to the company anyway. So I donated them and got a receipt from the homeless shelter. Never once did makarohn tell me that their requirements were that the receipt needed to also have a representatives signature on the receipt. How would I know that this is their requirement if they don't tell me? But now after the fact, to say its a requirement and that the form could be fake is appalling. This just goes to show you what kind of company this is. A company that cares about customer support would not require 20 communications back and forth and this type of run around. They made a mistake and should own up to it and take responsibility!! I want every consumer to know their deceptive practices and be forewarned before doing business with them. This has been 2 months of back and forth and many hours of wasted time when Makarohn could just do the right thing, admit their mistake and refund my money. I have never seen such a worse company in my life!

We have all the email correspondence back and forth with customer, we never said to donate the goods. We originally told the customer to return the goods. When informed that the customer had already donated the items we requested the proper paperwork as a compromise to issue the refund. Whenever we have issues and the items are no longer wanted or needed we always request that the items be sent back. Never donated. As stated before we donate items to our local shelter all the time and without the proper paperwork we can not claim the donation for taxes. We requested the paperwork as a courtesy to issue the refund however the customer has not provided proper paperwork and we have tried to contact the shelter on our own to no avail. No one answers the phone or responds to emails to try and get the proper paperwork filled out.

All we are asking for is proper paperwork to issue a refund so the items can be filed as donated. As a business we need to categorize loss/ breakage/ donations and refunds. This is not outside the realm of normalcy especially when the customer went off script and donated the items without first contacting us to find out what we as a company required for a refund.

Our shipping policy states that as the items are perishable they are not refundable and we are trying to work with the customer to provide compensation however he has not been cooperating in providing proper proof that he did not keep the items himself and now wants a full refund for something he kept.

Paperwork like that donation form can be found or made anywhere online and printed out. With no signature or response from the number listed on the form we can not verify this is even a real location.

I ordered a Thanksgiving Party Pack which is 35 macarons in various Thanksgiving themed flavors which was suppose to be the desert for my Thanksgiving party. What received was a 12 count in random flavors. I immediately contacted the company and informed them of the big mistake. They refused to quickly send out a new order stating they only ship on certain days and refused a full refund unless I returned the package myself. Now because of them I had to rush around calling bakeries that can make me a Thanksgiving themed desert in time for Thanksgiving which I never did and also I have to make time to go to a UPS store just to send back a little 12 count macaron when now I'm stuck making the desert myself. Because of Ma-Ka-Rohn's incompetence I'm worse off then I'm in a bind.

I was severely inconvenienced by them and they refused to make it right. Their customer service was terrible. When you make a mistake and severely inconvenience your customer you don't demand they do more the company should have taken responsibility and made it right. I've told everyone to not use this company because they make mistakes and inconvenience their customers they don't care.

The customer was refunded for the missing items and was instructed to send back the items she did not want for a total refund which we typically don't do as the items are perishable. We never received a return package from her, she wants us to refund her money but keep the products. In what situation does a company issue a refund without receiving the product back? This was responded to, the customer just wasn't happy with the response but she's being unreasonable.

To receive a refund you need to return the items.

Ordered on sept 28th and order has still not processed or shipped.

I ordered a gift from this business on 07/02/19 as a gift for my spouse. They advertised that they shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Since the order date was on a Tuesday, we presumed that it would ship the next day. We entered a request to have the product shipped to the beach house, with enough time to arrive based on their advertised website guidelines.

The product never arrived as described by their site. We attempted to call them using the number and support email they provided. This resulted in countless frustration as their phone number results in a full mailbox. We emailed support multiple times to have them switch the delivery address back to our home address once they could not meet THEIR advertised timeline. They never acknowledged our request and shipped to the beach house. We contacted support and requested a refund to which we were met with poor business practices and general blame for their poor service. They refuse to provide a refund and claim they never received any emails. I as the customer shouldn't have to work that hard to order a product and get it shipped timely in 2019.

I am posting this complaint so others do not have special occasions ruined by poor service.

Good evening Revdex.com & Consumers, our customer reached out to change his delivery address on 7/8. He provided us with the new shipping address on 7/9 at 11PM. His order shipped out the following morning before our customer service team had time to change the address on his order. This has been resolved on 7/16. His order was eventually delivered to the incorrect address, and was returned to sender (our company). We issued a refund on 7/16 and this case has been closed.
