Review: I ori[redacted]lly contacted the owner of Ma & Paw Kennel Canine Training Services, [redacted], on 5-30-I4 after referral to [redacted] by the rescue because she was a rescue volunteer. I contacted her to inquire about Puppy Preschool, which she advertised to offer for free with a home consultation purchased for $225. When I spoke to [redacted], she said that she was planning to schedule a puppy preschool start date in approximately 1-2 weeks, so I felt comfortable having her come over for a home consultation so that we could be included in the puppy class. After canceling once, [redacted] provided a home consultation on 6-9-14. She arrived 20 minutes late and was at our home for approximately 65 minutes. She had ori[redacted]lly said the consultation would last 90 minutes. During the consultation, she provided reading material about dog food, vaccines, and basic training. She did not interact at all with our puppy, see our home or our yard to make suggestions about puppy proofing or safety. When I inquired again about the start of puppy preschool, she told me she would pick a date by that Friday (6-14-14). I didn't hear back, so I asked again on 6-16-14 and was told again that something would be scheduled within 1-2 days. I followed up again on 6-20-14, and [redacted] responded that it would probably start in approximately 2 more weeks. At this point, our puppy was in the middle of a critical training and socialization period and we were very eager to get puppy classes started. My husband spoke with [redacted] on 6-23-14 and explained that we were not pleased with her service and wanted a partial refund since she did not come through with puppy preschool in a timely manner as promised. [redacted] said over the phone that she would be willing to refund $50, contingent that we would not be contacting her again for continued support. My husband followed up that day with an email, and on 6-26-14 [redacted] responded in a very unprofessional manner, calling him names. She still hasn't sent the refund and is ignoring follow-up emails.Desired Settlement: We would like a partial refund of $110 as we were completely dissatisfied with [redacted]'s service and she did not have a puppy preschool class as promised. We had to pay $110 to enroll him in puppy classes elsewhere.
