M&A Property Services & Cleaning

I hired [redacted] company M&A Property Services and Cleaning to cut down trees, clear tree stumps, and to dispose of all of these items from my acre of land on January 29th. He issued me a contract stating he would complete these services for $5,000. They started working on January 30th and continued through the 31st, February 1st, and 2nd[redacted] told me they would be finished on Sunday. They did not finish on Sunday. They didn't work on Monday, bu[redacted] asked for the remaining balance ($2,500). He wanted me to write him two checks one for 2k and the other for $500. I left him a check for 2K and told him I would give them the rest once they finished the job[redacted] and his workers worked on Monday, Tuesday and, Thursday and never came back to finish the job. I called and e-maile[redacted] on Thursday February 6th wondering where his workers were because it was 11am and no one was working on my land. At about 11a[redacted] responded back to me and informed me they had started cutting down more trees on my property. However, at around 3:30 he called me and told me he had some problems with my trees. When I called him back he did not answer his phone and later he never returned my phone call. Finally, he sent me an e-mail stating that an inspector had asked them to not cut down trees on my property because the trees were within 15 feet of a creek that runs through my property. I did not believe this and aske[redacted] to stop telling lies and finish the job he started. I also asked for the inspector's name and number an[redacted] never gave it to me. He then e-mailed me and stated he had to contact the county to see who owned my land. I informed him that I owned my land and what he was saying made no sense. Well[redacted] has not returne my phone call, texts, or e-mails and he and his crew left several trees uncut, several wood piles of cut trees all about my property, a rented Bobcat, several piles of brush, and damage to mother's yard. They also left trash on her property
