MA Recovery

Review: This company is calling to collect on an account that is fraudulent with online yellow pages. They have used a phone transaction that has been dubbed in order to declare that we ordered a product we have not. We have already filed a report about the fraud with online yellow pages. These calls, between the two companies, have lasted for nearly 2 years.Desired Settlement: The company, and their affiliates, would stop contacting us about this false invoice.

Review: '[redacted]' of MA Recovery has contacted our office several times regarding a 3rd party account that her company has purchased. This account is from an [redacted] Yellow Pages, who fraudulently recorded the voice of one of our employees allegedly agreeing to purchase a yellow page advertisement. First of all, the employee has no authority to authorize purchases. Second of all, on the original phone call, the employee was asked yes or no demographic questions about our business. [redacted] Yellow Pages spliced her voice recording and illegally changed the questions to fit their scam. [redacted] Yellow Pages, and now MA Recovery Services, their collections service, is now demanding $1004.17 for services that were never utilized, authorized and confirmed. After doing a great deal of research, [redacted] Yellow Pages has over 700 similar complaints, and now I have received a threatening letter from [redacted] demanding payment, as their 'legal service' deemed our response unsatisfactory. We have documentation from the past 17 months supporting the fraudulent activity of [redacted]. Interestingly enough, the faxes from [redacted].com and MA Recovery are coming from the same fax letterhead and font.Desired Settlement: We would like for MA Recovery to cease contact with our office, as well as writing off said alleged debt. We do not owe an moneys to either establishment. Should they continue to harrass us, we would like a full investigation of the allegations and a factual history of these two 'businesses' involved.

Review: MA Recovery has contacted us regarding a company ([redacted]). that has turned us over to collections. When I reported the [redacted] I was advised if the MA Recovery continue to harass us by calling and sending letters we should report them as well. They have again recently contacted us on 11/8/2013 to inform us they reject our dispute and advise us to call them immediately. We are now contacting our lawyers regarding this, as well as the State Attorney General, and the FTC.Desired Settlement: We wish for the MA Recovery to let us resolve the issue with [redacted], and stop contacting us.

Review: This company has contacted us to pay a debt we have disputed with the [redacted] since May 2012, upon searching online to find more information out about the collection agency it was discovered that the creditor and the debt collector are the same company. We received a formal demand for payment letter dated June 28, 2013 and this has been the first communication from the collection agency and the last time we were contacted by [redacted] was 9/18/2012.Desired Settlement: Cease letters and collection activity immediately.

Review: This "Business" is clamming to be a collection agency trying to receive full payment of over $1000.00 for fraudulent invoices from the [redacted] Yellow Pages Scam. After telling "collection agent" [redacted] that we didn't authorize any services form either company she played a spliced recording from an information verification phone call. When we told [redacted] she would not be receiving any payment for the misuse of the recording and that the person in the recording was not only not an employee but not authorized to make any finical decision for our business her reply was "We shouldn't hire such shady employees". That comment what heard by myself and three other employees.Desired Settlement: Remove fraudulent dept/invoices, re-frame form contacting us, and remove our information from there listings.
