I am rejecting this response because: None of that is true, I was not informed of any extra charges till the were charged I was told the door would be just like new I have no idea what he is talking about with bare minimum They gave me a quote I went with them and now I have an airbag light on that is going to cost me a 100$ A door that doesn't shut And their price after everything was said and done was more than any of my other estimates I think it is quite shady and unethical to bring a customer in give him a quote and then raise the quote and don't fix have the issues..not only did they not fix all the issues but they made more issues I now have an airbag light that was never on and a door that doesn't close Both of those issues were not there even when the door was dented Now after raising the price at the end without talking to me or letting me know they have added issues that I will have to pay for even after I left What a wonderful business to fix something, charge you more than they quoted and cause more issues you have to pay for than were there when I started I will never go to them again and will not recommend them to anyone

Please accept our apologies for this misunderstandingThe door issue will change the dynamics if the entire door is not in balanceMr [redacted] had us repair his outer door on his vehicle with the intentions of being the least expensive as he could get wanting the bare minimumWe had no control over the timing of the door since it had to be ordered and we were at the mercy of the supplier The reason the vehicle was repaired was due to an accident and the door along with the door jamb was crunchedSince the door is a used door, the existing computer will not be aware of the new to the car door and it will read a check engine due to the airbagThe customer was advised of this and we mentioned that we can arrange for the reset of the computer, however the cost will be up to the customer to fulfill

*** *** originally called and asked if we would help with her deductible on a vehicle that was wreckedI told her that it would depend upon labor cost of how much we could help her withAfter ***'s vehicle was brought into our center, HER insurance company adjuster came to our center for
an inspection and had a repair order of aftermarket parts, in which are made in ChinaIt was calculated of labor on her vehicle was $and I told her we could give her a discount to save $270.00, which is a 15% savings off labor. After that conversation, I receive another phone call in which *** asked if I could save the rest of her deductibleWe talked about finding cheaper parts to help her with her situationOnce *** found out how much the insurance total of over $in parts and labor for her car was, she wanted money backShe called approximately six times asking for moneyWhen I repeatedly told her no, she then started calling to have me do more work on her vehicle for free on previous vehicle damageThen *** had us put a new battery in her car (non accident related)She was told upfront that the battery would be an additional charge plus installationShe wanted item however just did not want to pay for it and wanted it freeWhen we spoke about pick up time, she had the nerve to say when I told her that we would not be able to cover that expense, she would have to pay, she stated that she "would never come back to our center and she should have just paid her full deductible"I said, that's fine, then you can pay your full deductible which is $500. After we hung up, she called her insurance company and they called us to inquireWe advised them of what transpiredLater in the day her Pastor at her church called me to extend apologies for her rudeness and ignorance and asked if I could extend that kindness of not charging her the deductibleWe obligedWhen *** picked up her vehicle, she obviously did not appreciate the discount or any help we have given her

Please accept our apologies for this misunderstanding. The door issue will change the dynamics if the entire door is not in balance. Mr. [redacted] had us repair his outer door on his vehicle with the intentions of being the least expensive as he could get wanting the bare minimum. We had no control...

over the timing of the door since it had to be ordered and we were at the mercy of the supplier.  The reason the vehicle was repaired was due to an accident and the door along with the door jamb was crunched. Since the door is a used door, the existing computer will not be aware of the new to the car door and it will read a check engine due to the airbag. The customer was advised of this and we mentioned that we can arrange for the reset of the computer, however the cost will be up to the customer to fulfill.

June 2015 [redacted] had a 2002 Town Car towed into our facility from another body shop. He was not pleased with other shops work and wanted us to straighten front damages. He did not give us the ok until August. September HE decided he wanted it painted and other repairs made. Demanded it be done...

no later than 09/30/15 and promised he would have the money. It was completed, however, he did not pick it up at that time. December 2015 [redacted] decided that he now wanted to pick up the car. I gave him the price of the TWO repairs plus $15.00 a day storage (which we have signs posted.) I agreed to charge him a lesser amount but he insisted of not paying anything for the many months of storage. At this time, he made threats to kill not only me and my family but also kill our employees. He made several phone calls stating these threats on the company telephone as well. Therefore, we called the police, they came out and ran the plates. This is when it was brought to our attention, [redacted] was actually [redacted] Warren. The police had given us a few recommendations advising us not to allow him on our lot anymore. This is when [redacted] contacted an attorney. I spoke with her and it was settled that WITH a proper letter from the attorney stating the details we spoke about the car would be released. When his mother came in with the letter, there were several issues with it: namely improper terms, wrong name, misspelled words and had a improper letterhead. I advised his mother that we need to speak with the attorney, after she left we called said attorney. At this time, the attorney was surprised to hear that the last name she was given did not match what the police had found. We did not hear anything else from [redacted] until we received a phone call with him stating he had someone picking vehicle up, if I would agree to less storage. We did and vehicle was picked up late March.

I am rejecting this response because:
None of that is true,  I was not informed of any extra charges till the were charged.  I was told the door would be just like new.  I have no idea what he is talking about with bare minimum.  They gave me a quote I went with them and now I have an airbag light on that is going to cost me a 100$.  A door that doesn't shut.  And their price after everything was said and done was more than any of my other estimates.  I think it is quite shady and unethical to bring a customer in give him a quote and then raise the quote and don't fix have the issues..not only did they not fix all the issues but they made more issues.  I now have an airbag light that was never on and a door that doesn't close.  Both of those issues were not there even when the door was dented.  Now after raising the price at the end without talking to me or letting me know they have added issues that I will have to pay for even after I left.  What a wonderful business to fix something, charge you more than they quoted  and cause more issues you have to pay for than were there when I started.  I will never go to them again and will not recommend them to anyone.
