Your Customer is either misinformed about their vehicle or she is not being honestI still have the original bumper and can prove it HAD been worked on and painted prior to its arrival at my facilityYou may also want to inform the customer that there is hidden damage due to an impact in this areaHer frame is completely pushed forward at least and to inches She is also mistaken about my shops reputationWe have impeccable ratings and come highly recommendHer tone and language are completely unacceptable and needs to improve if we are to Come to an agreementIn summary, I am NOT refunding this customer's moneyIf she decides to have a change in attitude, will consider working on this vehicle to get it to the point where she is happyI am beginning to doubt this as possible given her unprofessional tone and ignorance regarding the extent of damage to her vehicleIf she purchased this car second hand, I would strongly recommend her contacting the sellerIf she has had it since it was brand new, she is a liarAgain, I have the original bumper and can easily prove my interpretation of the events

I received complaint ID [redacted] on 11/30/2016. The Customer is incorrect on some things and wanted to take this opportunity to provide a more accurate interpretation of the events. The customer relating to ID [redacted] came to our facility on 10/19/2016 for an estimate (please see included document...

titled "Estimate"), not August 7, 2016. The estimate was written to remove and replace her rear bumper as well as refinish it. Estimate total was $701.00.The customer made a required $50 deposit and scheduled her car for repair on 11/7/2016. Also, please note on the included estimate that it clearly states "Minor imperfections will show" The vehicle arrived on 11/7/2016. Once in our shop we discovered that repairs had been attempted on the same area as estimated prior to arrival. The work was of poor quality and we discovered an additional part had been left off while being previously repaired. We advised that we would remove the fresh paint we discovered on the rear bumper valance and that we would attempt to refinish back to the original color AT NO CHARGE.The repairs were completed to the customer's dissatisfaction and a number of attempts were made to get this repair to a point where the customer would be completely satisfied. We attempted to fix all the issues with no additional cost but failed at every attempt. As the owner, I would be more than happy to continue working directly with this customer until they are completely satisfied. The color match was inspected by me prior to delivery and I observed no variance in color. In closing I would like to also add that my shop was not the cause of any additional damage mentioned in the complaint. I went through all video tapes and do not see any indication to this claim.A refund will not be issued but I will be willing to continue to work with this customer. Please call me at ###-###-#### with any additional questions or concernsSincerely,Kevin K[redacted]Owner, Maaco of Winchester  Sincerely,Owner, Maaco of Winchester

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I never stated that the car had never had any previous damage to the "OLD" bumper.  When the car was purchased it had been disclosed to me that it had had minor rear end damage from a low impact collision.  I bought the car to Maaco because someone in a parking lot had hit the rear left hand side of my bumper and left.  It didn't have major damage but I wanted it repaired.  Upon the car being inspected when I brought it to Maaco they said that the car had been repaired before and that they felt I should have a new bumper installed instead of trying to repair the old one.  I took their advise and did so, so there should be "NO" damage to a "NEW" bumper.  The paint should be in top condition.  As for the car the other issues he states was wrong with the car that has nothing to do with the bumper.  The bumper and only the bumper is the issue here.  And I can submit plenty of complaints that are on public display on the internet for anyone to see.  So as for my so called attitude, I am just being honest.  For a customer to have to come numerous times to pick up a car and still not be in the condition it should have been is ridiculous.  I also know someone personally whom has had there care repaired there and had the same issues.  So don't you call me a liar.  That's like the pot calling the kettle black.  You are probably the biggest liar of all if you want to go that direction.  You can continue to deny the issues all you want, but the facts are still the same.  We can just forget the he said she said crap and just go to court.  If I have the money to waste on a crappy paint job I can surely hire and attorney and take it there.  I will definitely be getting a few other paint dealers in the area to look at this so called impeccable job and get their opinion, that way it's not just my opinion.  This isn't so much about the money but the principal of the thing.  The work performed on my vehicle was substandard period the end of discussion.
