Resolved, got the truck back today and it looks great! I was credited back $125.00 for the painting of the tonneau cover. Thank you.

the shop to make arrangements by paying the necessary fees(lien charges and storage fees) to get the vehicle released. This is not the first time this occurs with this customer as a similar issue happened last year. If consumer contacts the business directly a reasonable fee negotiation would be considered.
Review: On 4/1/2016 I dropped off 2-2008 [redacted] Crownvictoria Police cars for paint and body work. The estimator told me that both cars would be ready to pick up on 4/8/2016. I informed him that if both cars were not ready that day I would not be able to pick them up until 4/18/2016 as I would be out of town till 4/16/2016. On 4/9/2016 I received a call at 10AM stating that one car would be ready that day. I reminded him I would be out of town till 4/16/2016 and I would be there to pick them up by end of day on 4/18/2016. On the morning of 4/18/2016 I received a lien sale in the mail for storage of a car starting on 4/8/2016 at a rate of $50 a day and as of date mailed which was 4/15/2016 came out to $400. I believe that this company is trying to scam me for storage fees knowing from day 1 of my absence being out of town. I am a small business owner and even if I did complete work on a pice of equipment I would never start a lien on it for sitting at my shop for 1 week after completion.Desired Settlement: Pay original estimate immediately and pick up my cars.
