Review: Recently received a new debit card to replace old one ([redacted]) Went to return item ($17.28) with original recipe and unused product. Store would not issue refund because receipt is reflective of the old debit card (same checking account), new card issued has new number. Card is brand new. Was not given an alternative refund method. Receipt states MAC will gladly exchange or refund merchandise within 30 days of purchase with a valid mac receipt. I am an avid customer of this establishment and have spent lots of money in this store. I am not the first consumer to receive a new debit card and will not be the last. I was never shown a written policy that stated their store policy in the event that the customer has a new debit card. The sales clerk that refused to refund my purchase has assisted me many of times with spending money to buy products in their store. I was told to get a letter from the bank which is absolutely ridiculous!! This is not reflective of how you treat a regular customer for a refund of $17.28. There are plenty of merchants who would have cheerfully given the refund due to the circumstances.Desired Settlement: Refund of 17.28 for unused product and to be contacted by the general manager of the store.

Review: I was given a $200 M.A.C cosmetics gift card for christmas so I went to M.A.C at the florida mall to use it. When I was ready to purchase my products the employee told me I did not have enough money on my card. This was impossible because I have never used the card before and I had the receipt at home. I was also told that they could not help me with this problem I would have to call customer service. When I called customer service they told me the card had been swiped twice. I am now left with no money and no makeup.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I just want my money back. I have not been able to use my christmas gift and I am not pleased with their service. I have been tossed around trying to figure out how to get my money back.

Review: My complaint is with the online website not an actually retail store. There was no option to pick the website. My dispute with the website started on June [redacted]. Mac cosmetics recently released a collection of lipsticks along with other beauty products that was set to start selling on June ** at noon est. online only. I live in Arizona so it would start selling at 10am my time. So I woke up out of my sleep to order these item since I knew they would probably sell out. I got online put the 3 items in my cart and continue to proceed to check out. There was a huge hold on getting to checkout. Everybody was having this problem. I stayed only for 2 1/2 hours to finally pay and get a conformation. I also heard other people waited 3,4,5, even 6 hours to pay. I received my conformation email saying my product would take 3-5 days to ship. About an hour later I went back online too see if the products had sold out yet some did and others were placed on back order. I was happy I had got mine in on time cuz I would want to wait for something to come back in stock. This morning I revived another email from mac saying they can't ship my products because there sold out and I won't receive until the end of July. This make no sense because my sister ordered her products hours after I did and her products have already shipped. I'm convinced that if they had so manny problems with ordering online I wouldn't be surprised about them screwing up orders. It's very unfair to me. I've contacted them 3 times and still haven't received anything from them.Desired Settlement: I Want my lipsticks to be shipped within the 3-5 days as promised in my first email. I should have to pay for there mistake. I would also like a complementary discount code or free item for having to eke up out of my sleep when I had to go to work and wait for 2 1/2 all to tell my I won't be getting products. If that's was the case I could go online right now and order the same products with no hassle no wait time to receive the same out come.

Review: To whom it may concern:

I was visiting my home town of, [redacted] in Friday August [redacted] 2014. I am a frequent MAC Cosmetic Customer and stopped into the [redacted]'s store (#[redacted] to make purchase. There was a nice, helpful Makeup Artist who assisted me in lip essentials. I purchased at this time, Lip Conditioner and Pre + Prime. happily I continued shopping. I return to my home in North Jersey today to find my Prep + Prime box is empty!? Mind you this is the first time I am unpacking, as I returned hone at 11am. I immediately called the [redacted] location to speak with [redacted] who was not in, but spoke with [redacted] who heard me out and said she would return my call within the hour; after 3 hours I called back, she apologized and promised to call me back; however when she did it was with news that her [redacted]" said that I needed to return to the store with the box. I live an hour and a half away. Apparently this was relayed to her but was not taken into consideration. I paid for a product but it had not been received it, and now would NOT be shipped to me. I am requesting the right thing be done in this instance, and I am shipped the merchandise that I paid for but never received. I am a loyal, and polite Customer, this should not be this difficult to resolve. As a [redacted] myself, I am surprised by "[redacted]" expecting me to travel 88 miles to rectify a situation that I did not create, she should be embarrassed, apologetic, or accommodating at the least (to my request to go to the [redacted]s in [redacted] for the pick up- which is still an inconvenience).

I request a resolution befitting of your reputation.

Review: I purchased foundation from MAC Cosmetics that caused me to have a skin reaction. As I did not recall having a receipt issued to me, the [redacted] at the store where I purchased said foundation informed me that she could not issue me a refund without a receipt present, which I was understanding of. Once reaching the customer service line at ###-###-#### and ###-###-####, I was directed to call ###-###-#### and select option 8 to speak with someone about this matter. After being on hold for 33 minutes, the line rang through, but immediately hung up. I continued to call back and spend 3.5 hours on two different phones to hopefully get through to someone who could help me with such a minor request. Each time, the line rang through at about 28-35 minutes later, and hung up. The last time I had called at approximately 4:10, the automated line stated that the building was closed, and to call back during regular business hours, which were stated to be 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST from Monday to Friday. As today's date is Monday, December **, and my call had been received at 4:10 p.m., I'm still wondering why my call was not answered and the line continuously hung up on me, causing me to spend hours of my time calling back to have my call supposedly answered in which the order it was received, only to continue being hung up on. Returns are a relatively simple process. As a former retail employee, the customer service I have not received today is absolutely deplorable, and unable to be excused.Desired Settlement: Current retail price including sales tax of the MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
