The items here are used but will be listed as "open box" - and they do not accept returns. Unless of course you agree to pay 29.99/mo, in which then you will be granted 1 return/mo. The rules are inconsistent. There is no way to contact or get a response from management by phone, email, or on their social media. I have tried all three. In person - the "sometimes" manager on duty was flat out rude and adamant about keeping hundreds of my dollars with no intent to resolve my issue of not receiving my merchandise or refund for products purchased (I even tried to reason with store credit). His words were "at this point it's my word against yours until you are able to tell me who has helped you in the past with your purchases". As he laughs about the person I mentioned, stating that he has since been fired so my information would be useless in helping my claim. It is obvious that there is a high turnover and shortage of staff because there has been a few times that I would need to fish out and load my own merchandise, but that shouldn't become my problem. BEWARE, this company operates like calculated con artists and do so in a manner that can't be traced.

M@C Discount sells customer returns and overstock items via online auctions. Each item has an opening bid of $1.00 and is sold to the highest bidder. Every item has a condition code that is either, NEW, OPEN BOX or DAMAGED. If the condition is not obvious, items are listed as OPEN BOX, which is defined in our Terms and Conditions as anything from new to damaged or missing pieces. We highly recommend that all bidders inspect items prior to placing a bid if there are any concerns regarding the condition. All items are available for inspection prior to the close of the auction. In addition, each auction has a very clear set of rules that all bidders must comply with to maintain the integrity of the auction. The most important rule in the auction is the removal date. All bidders must remove any item prior to the abandonment date. All of these terms are clearly displayed on the auction site www.mac.bid and are attached to this response. In addition all bidders are required to accept the terms and conditions prior to bidding in any auction.Complaint ID#*** is directly related to complying with the rules of the auction. It is unfortunate when a customer’s expectations are not aligned with the service provided, but we have an obligation to remain true to the rules of the auction. In this case, the unhappy customer did not remove the items before the Removal Deadline. The items were abandoned. When the customer asked for a refund and/or store credit, the request was denied. Our view is that if we grant special favors or “bend the rule” of the auction for one individual it is unfair to the other bidders that actually follow the rules.M@C Discount makes every effort to align customer expectations with the rules of the auction. We readily assist individuals with special circumstances, IF that customer reaches out to us prior to the removal deadline. Unfortunately once the deadline is missed, we are not in a position to grant favoritism.M@C Discount displays all contact information clearly on the website, our Facebook page and all email communication to the winning bidders. We make every effort to be as transparent as possible regarding the auction sales, and will continue to run a fair and ethical online marketplace regardless of the backlash we receive by living up to our terms and conditions.
