This company has been trying to collect a debt that is at least years oldThey are *** and try to intimidate peopleThey sent personal informations about this alleged account to my step father's name regarding this years old alleged debtThey also sent mail to the neighbors of my parentsThis debt was paid in full

Was phoned today by Mac Financial Recovery looking for my boyfriendI denied them access as this is not his telephone numberThe male employee, *** ***, then began to yell at me repeatedly in a derogatory tone "lady do what your told and put him on the phone"I told him to never speak to me that way and to not call my number againThe same employee called back three timesI called this business back and told them to stop calling as this no longer appears on my boyfriends credit score and is past the statue of limitations and this is harassment

MAC FINANCIAL is calling me to collect a non-existant debt from *** I have not purchased ANYTHING from *** in over years

Mr *** *** (Collectors License # XXXXXXX) working for Mac Financial Recovery (Collections Agency # XXXXXXX) is calling me from the "Mac Financial Recovery - Civil Claims Office" about a debt past the statute of limitations of years and is threatening legal actions against me in "Small Claims Court" As per the Limitations Act "Unless this act provides otherwise, a proceeding shall not be commenced in respect of a claim after the second anniversary of the day on which the claim was discovered" In addition to this, Mr *** is a collections agent and not a paralegal or lawyer and cannot make misrepresentations as such

The statute of limitations has been more than 3yrs since this debt was owedIt is not on my Credit report as I have just updated all my information as there were inconsistencies in the information, which has been currently resolvedThey continue to contact me via phone and now with a letter threatening to take legal action

I have recieved several phone calls from this company about a debt that was settled over 2.5years agoThe agent I spoke with *** Gwas very disrespectful and ***, my Aunt tried to reach him on my behalf to submit to him emails that stated the closure of the debt but he was very *** and *** with her and would not give her his email or fax information for him to recieve the proper documentsHe told my year old Aunt to mind her business and hung up in her face, she had to call back and get fax information from a supervisor I believeThis information was sent by Aunt via fax number given and yet still MrGdid accept and kept calling me and was very *** and *** towards myself
Today July 28,I called MrGafter I myself got my Aunt to email me this information regading the debt and I sent him the emailWhen he received it he kept questioning about a name on one of the emails and I told him several times that I am unware who the email is addressed to but it is clearly from the manger of the storen and he has clearly stated that my name be removed from collections with account number, store number, etc
I told MrGthat I wanted this dealt and this was the exact thing that myself and my Aunt who he treated so poorly for no reason, have been trying to explain to him for some time now and asked him when this would be taken out of collectionsHe replied that this was very cut and dry and he didnt understand why the information wasnt removed and dealt with sooner than thisHe promised to have everything in order before he leaves for the end of the day today, a promise that I hope he keeps
To the managers of this company I strongly think that you need to speak with you agents about how the talk and deal with customersJust because some owes some money or whatever the case may be does not give them the right to speak to people so *** and ***Things will get resolved much easier and faster if your agent showed some respect towards people especially when they are trying to explain that an incident has been resolved for some time now
