TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I AM WRITING IN RESPONSE TO Revdex.com CASE# ***
THE CUSTOMER'S SON CAME TO THE CAR LOT TO INQUIRE ABOUT A VEHICLETHE SON WANTED TO BUY A CAR BUT DID NOT QUALIFY TO PURCHASE ONE ON HIS OWN I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD A
CO-SIGNOR AND HE SAID YES HIS DAD, HE THEN ASKED ABOUT THE DOWN PAYMENT. I TOLD HIM IF HIS DAD HAD GREAT CREDIT POSSIBLY DOWN OR LESS, THE DAD CAME TO THE CAR LOT BUT HE DID NOT HAVE GREAT CREDIT AFTER TAKING THE APPLICATION HIS CREDIT WAS NOT UP TO STANDARDS LIKE WHAT WAS STATED BY THE SON. THE BANK REQUIRED A LARGER DOWN PAYMENT- WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER WHAT A BANK WILL LOAN A CUSTOMER ON CAR LOANS .THE PRICE NEVER CHANGEDTHE
CUSTOMER KNEW BEFORE THE SALE THAT THE DOWN PAYMENT WAS DOLLARS NOT FIVE HUNDRED AND COULD HAVE BACKED OUT OF THE DEAL AT ANY TIME-
BANK FORGOT TO GET A COPY OF HIS DRIVERS LICENSE AND WE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND ASKED TO PLEASE STOP BY SO WE COULD MAKE A COPY, EACH TIME HE SAID OK BUT NEVER DID- WE KEPT CALLING AND TOLD HIM OF A LATE FEE THE STATE CHARGED AFTER SO MANY DAYS, STILL HE DIDNT COMEONCE THE TAG EXPIRED HIS SON CONTACTED US AT THE DEALERSHIP AND ASKED IF HE COULD GET A TAG EXTENSIONWE ADVISED HIS SON THAT WE COULD HAVE ALREADY APPLIED FOR A TAG FOR HIM IF HIS FATHER WOULD HAVE SIMPLY DROPPED OFF A COPY OF HIS LICENSEWHEN WE TOLD THE BUYER THAT THERE WAS A LATE FEE FOR THE TAG, HE CONTACTED THE TAG DEPARTMENT IN THE COUNTY HE LIVES IN AND TOLD THEM WE WERE REFUSING TO PAY THE TAXES FOR HIS CARTHAT SIMPLY WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALLWE COLLECT ALL SALES TAX AT THE TIME THE BUYER SIGNS HIS PAPERWORK AND ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO DO THISTHE REASON HIS TAG EXPIRED IS BECAUSE THE BUYER NEVER GAVE US A COPY OF HIS LICENSEONCE WE FINALLY GOT A COPY OF HIS LICENSE, THE TAG WAS APPLIED FOR AND WE EVEN PAID THE LATE FEE FOR THE BUYER BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO PAY THE FEEWE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR A LONG TIME AND STRIVE TO PLEASE ALL CUSTOMERSIT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE FOR US THAT THIS BUYER DID NOT HAVE A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of Mac George Motorcars in reference to case number ***Mac George Motorcars has been in business since Every car that is sold at Mac George Motorcars is sold "AS IS" and has been since we opened. We encourage all of our customers to test drive our vehicles and also take it to a mechanic of their choiceThe customer did test drive the vehicle and was encouraged to purchase a warranty which she declinedOur paperwork consists of two forms showing the vehicle is "AS IS"The customer signed both formsThe customer was explained what each form meant including the "AS IS". We were told by *** *** that it was the computer not the transmission. The hostility came from the customer, I tried to communicate but could not. We at Mac George Motorcars strive to purchase the best possible vehicles unfortunately we can not determine when a vehicle will give a problemWe tried to work with the customer on trading her out of the vehicle but she only wanted us to trade even with her and that was not possible. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[I have read the untruths provided by the spokesman for mac george motorcars in albany, ga First, there was never a mention of a warranty available for purchase during the sale In fact, I specifically asked the salesperson about a warranty and he said that no warranty was available Second, when *** contacted Mac about the problem with the car, Mac was very belligerent stating that she should not contact him with a *** ***" attitude and that he had no responsibility for any problems with the car He has never offered to do the right thing and, at least help her with the repair cost Third, the transmission shop DID tell *** that the car needed a new transmission and that they had told Mac George to never send another car to them since they had no confidence in him as an honest dealer I will pray that Mac sees the evil in cheating poor vulnerable people and decides to clear his conscience I believe the evidence in this case proves and exposes his dishonesty Come on, now, the car didn't even run day! We will not stop until we get some degree of satisfaction, even if we have to picket in front of your car lot
Regards,*** ***

The dealer has obviously forgotten the conversation he had with me on the day he paid the late fees. He admitted that he had a copy of my license in the beginning and that because of tax season he had a bunch of paper work in the office and that it was easy to lose paperwork in the office. He then stated that he called the bank for a copy of the license and they didn't have a copy to fax him. He then stated that he would pay for the tag because he didn'twant there to be a fall out of a few dollars.  So for him to make it seem like he did me a favor for not doing his job in the beginning is absolutely ridiculous.  He continues to flat out lie about how the events transpired. This is in no way the way a business should handle their responsibilities. What a disappointment in his behavior.

The buyer of this vehicle wanted us, the dealership to pay for the late charges for his tag and pay for next years tag fees. This is a ridiculous request. It is not and was not our fault that the buyer did not receive his tag. Once the buyer gave us a copy of his license, his tag was applied for and received the following business day. Our dealership even paid the late charges for the buyer. We are very sorry that the buyers experience was not a pleasant one but we, the dealership have gone the extra mile in paying the late fees for the buyer and getting him his tag the very next business day. We do not feel we should pay for next years tag fees. This is a ridiculous request. We hope this clears up all confusion with this case.
Best Regards,
