My wife and I used MAC Home Remodeling LLC to get brand new siding this past OctoberWe could not of been more happy with their service, starting with our salesman, Nick GuerraNick was very knowledgeable and organized which made the entire process a great experienceNick went out of his way to make sure that he was selling us what was in the best interest for my wife and II would highly recommend MAC Home Remodeling LLC for any home improvement needs
Review: The salesman came to our home and told us we would have over $8,000 in damages, that the work would be completed within 30 days and that he would work with the insurance agent. Today, I received a call telling me I would receive an invoice if they did not hear from me within 24 hours. The man I spoke to tonight, that called me, admitted that he knew I was not lying because at least 3-4 other owners shared the same story and that salesman is no longer with the business. He also stated that they have made numerous calls to my home, which when I offered to get my phone bills, he said he believed me and that someone must have wrote down that they called and they did not, which is in and of itself, a problem. This salesman was upselling the company and their work in order to get business and then the company does not adhere to what is said.Desired Settlement: I do not trust a company that does not know what their sales team is saying to customers, claims they made more contact than what they did, and then change the story when confronted. I do not want to do business with this company, nor feel that their inflated $1,500 fee to cancel is worthy of their lies.

Response:
The above attachments are the agreements between MAC Home Remodeling and [redacted]. In the initial agreement we never specified a total amount that the insurance company would provide. We simply state that we will meet with the insurance company, show them the damage we have found and that if we get them approved we will do the work for the allotted amount or the homeowner agrees to pay us a $1,500.00 service fee for the expenses we incurred with working on their claim. We cannot make determinations as to the exact amount a approval will end up being nor do we claim to be able to that is completely up to the insurance company. We can give our opinion about what we think is damaged on the property and we can meet with the insurance company to show them that damage. It should be noted that once the homeowners contacted us, after contacting the Revdex.com, we explained the process and they immediately signed a contact with us to preform the work the insurance company approved them for. We are not sure why the homeowner decided to contact the Revdex.com before contacting us, but again once we spoke with the homeowners this situation was immediately resolved. Also to be noted the contract that was signed for the approved damage to the property is $5,123.11 which is less then the $8,000.00 the homeowner mentioned. If the homeowner would have contacted us we would have explained to her that we do the work on what the insurance company finds is damaged for the amount they approve it for.

Response:
I am rejecting this response because:
An agreement was settled but this complaint was filed after it was discussed and we were not satisfied. The company then came to our home again and apologized for their now terminated employee misrepresenting them. The gentleman stated names and local addresses of who else had been lied to by the same salesman. It was a very shady business practice on his part. We are satisfied with his termination, but the person who responded to this did not have all the facts of the conversations that took place. Our check has been cashed by them and we are awaiting a date for them to arrive. We have not received a call to schedule that yet. Hopefully their workmanship is more reputable than their salesmanship.
