We received a call from *** *** in July that her lawn was in bad shapeUpon receiving this call we made an appointment with herI personally met with her and much to my surprise the property looked amazing! There were a few very minor areas of brown within an area of bent grass that is to
be expected in Hot weather(It much prefers cool weather.)Toward the end of the summer we were contacted againabout the lawn having some problemsThe foreman for that route had just raked and reseeded it I noticed this upon inspection also noticing that there were very dry areas in the front lawn and instructed the secretary to let her know it was just reseeded and to water the front and to give it a little time to germinateI get a note from the secretary at the end of September that says " *** *** had her lawn power seeded and fertilized by another companyDon't cut for weeks and discontinue fertilizer programThese services were not needed and *** did not trust our professional opinion and wanted something from us that she did not need. So By doing this she broke our agreement( not contract)We thought that by using another landscaper , that she was not happyWhy wouldn't she just use the other company for her needsAdditionally by doing this and sending our guys away when they come when the weather is a little rainy, she has made this an unprofitable, uncomfortable situation for allShe said that when the secretary told her of this parting of ways "hat we were "highly recommended and you are going to do this to me"I say we were highly recommended for a reasonLet us do our jobWhich we were doingIn doing this for so many years , Ive come to know that people are very impatient and want instant gratificationAdditionally every one thinks that they have a sprinkler system and that is the end all, be allBut its notThey have to be constantly adjusted for time and spray patterns and monitored for failing partsIts nothing personal

Unfortunately, it seems that we and Hines & Zaffarese are looking at two different lawns. Further, based on some of the inaccuracies in their response and their implication that customers simply do not understand the sciences of lawn maintenance, it does not appear that we will come to a satisfactory agreement. Although we are not highly trained in the intricate art of lawn maintenance, we probably are smart enough to know when our lawn looks terrible. Unfortunately, as customers our perspective and requests were ignored, and again, they broke our contract. No refund, no resolution. Thank you.
