I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For yourreference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the response I have received. If the vehicle did have 162,500 miles on it why was it reported to the dmv on 6/16/15 almost a week after the vehicle was purchased that it had 162,503 miles making it "Not actual Mileage". If I was lied to about the shape the vehicle was in to begin with why would I bring it back to be looked at by the same people who took advantage of me in the first place? Upon doing a carfax vehicle report I also found that there is no record of any work done to the vehicle, not even an oil change since 3/27/03.

Review: I purchased a used [redacted] from Mac Ragans Auto Sales. Upon purchase I was told that the vehicle had all the necessary repairs and was safe to drive. Within three months or less the vehicle had a number of issues that made the vehicle unsafe to drive. For example the wheel bearing and ball joint on the left side needed to be replaced, the vehicle had an extremely bad lean to the left. Also the transmission began to slip in drive and reverse. When the vehicle was in drive it would not accelerate and suddenly jump forwards, the same with reverse. The power steering hose had a large hole in it where it would continuously leak the fluid and needed to be refilled on a daily basis. Upon looking at the vehicle before purchase I was shown the sunroof but it was not opened all the way to show where the sunroof had needed repair. The passenger side of the vehicle also has a leak where when it rains the entire passenger side fills up with water and now has black mold growing throughout the vehicle.

I purchased the vehicle for $4,000.00 and was told that everything that needed repair had been fixed and it was a safe and reliable. If this was true I wouldn't be experiencing all these issues within such a short period of time. if I was aware of the issues before purchase I would not have purchased the vehicle.

Upon further research of Mac Ragans I found that he was recently charged for illegally turning the odometers back on vehicles he was selling. If this was the case it would explain why the 1999 jeep I purchased had such low mileage for being 16 years old and it would also explain why the vehicle is in such bad shape.

I am also concerned that my safety was not a priority to the seller and I believe that is a completely unethical way for a business to operate.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the vehicle because I believe I was taken advantage of and am now stuck paying off a loan for a vehicle I was only able to drive for a few months after purchase. I cannot afford to repair the vehicle and I also believe with all the issues it has it was not worth what I paid.
