I spoke with *** and he stated: *** is the daughter of our customer. I already discussed the issues of her complaint with our customer, her mother, and she stated she is fine with everything. We don't contract to shovel her walksWe have added sidewalks as an extra service courtesy
for her since the issue was brought up, but she maintains she is fine with everythingI have spoken to her 2- times sinceI am very sorry for whatever transpired between me and her daughter as everyone was very agitated due to the stormOnce again, my apologies

I was finally able to cash the check although I am still unhappy about the vent issue not being taken care of

I sent the Revdex.com a copy of the contract. That will show the conditions of the service that wasn't fulfilled. Plus, you can even call my neighbor who went in on this with me. She will tell you the conditions of the price. Mac Services didn't always plow, we both had to call him to come. My neighbor and I went in together, that's why the price was what is was. When I called and told him that my walk wasn't shoveled, he hung up on me. That was very rude and unprofessional. Why would I go to all this time and trouble if what he says is true? If someone pays for a service and it's not completed, then return the money. Isn't that why there was a contract? Isn't it suppose to protect people from this type of problem? The company broke the contract I can't help that his trucks were down, the contract didn't state that if the trucks were down, there would be no shoveling. The law should protect people from and have the contract upheld. I hope that no one else has to go through this or treated this way by a company. I'd like to have this settled. Regards, *** ***

We had hired Mac Services for the winter of 14-We had signed a contract for $to plow our driveway and shovel the front walkway and in front of the front stepsThe driveway was never plowed when I needed to go to workOne time I complained and it was plowed before I went to the work the next day and our shovel was tossed all the way in the middle of the yardAnother time I had to call and after the driveway was plowed the shovel was stuck in a snowbank in front of the back door and you could not even get out the doorWhat if there was a fire? Never Again

Hired MAC Services when we first bought our home and didn't have time for DIY lawn careThey billed monthly, stating service would happen weekly weather permittingWe were billed for service despite only received service times over the span of weeksLawn looked terrible, weather did permit service--they just never showed up, and yet they demanded payment (via passive-aggressive notes left in our mailbox) even for a month they didn't show up at allIf we had a contract I would have brought this matter to small claims

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not see Mac's reply previously - and in trying to reply to this the ID# was not accepted - His offer of $is not what the month of Feb would cover - I had to contract with another firm and they charge the same season amount as Mac Services $350- based on months that amounts to $not $and if the contract is for Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb only then it is $88.50. I did pay for sidewalk shoveling so I expect at least $- not $50.00. I f I do not receive his check by the 1st week in March I will not close this complaint. Regards, *** ***

[redacted] called and he stated: I apologize she was unable to reach me as I had access problems for 3 days with my voicemail.  I have discussed this with my attorney and  based on the services I provided to her I will agree to refund her a partial in the amount $50. I did not receive her...

cancellation notice until February and she was serviced until then. I am very sorry that she is unhappy with the service, as we have many very happy customers. She will be mailed her refund check by the end of February.

I spoke with [redacted] and he stated:I plowed her 39 times and shoveled 38 times, the shoveling was included for her for free due to her income situation. The last storm I was unable to shovel her, but I plowed her driveway. We had 2 trucks downs and I advised her I might need a little bit of time to get...

there to "shovel" for that last storm. She would'nt accept that. I didn't charge her for shoveling therefore she is not due a refund for shoveling. We only missed one shoveling which there was no charge for.

called to respond and he stated: I sent her the refund the check which should be good shortly, I will advise when it can be cashed. For an  unforeseen reason, my account was put on hold. She will not be getting the additional money she is seeking for the "sewer company vent cover",  as my business has gone above and beyond to address several concerns of hers at no additional charge. She can have the $270 refund and I will advise when the check will clear.

[redacted] responded with: I cancelled her service as she called me to tell me someone was in her driveway with a blue plow and did damage to her house. I told her I didn't own a blue plow and I cancelled her service. She currently owes me money due to 18 plow contract now at 29 plows. I don't want any...

money from her, I am just cancelling her contract.

I spoke with [redacted] and he additionally responded: I am sorry it didn't work out for you, but the service you paid for, you did receive, and then some. It is very unfortunate that you are not happy, due to us not shoveling one time. Several wind circumstances may have caused snow drifts, but we are only responsible for fresh fallen snow. We cannot come every time the wind blows a drift. At this time we feel that no refund is due to the customer.
