We are very sorry the customer is not happy with their purchaseThe furniture purchased is displayed in our showroom for the customer to come and measure, sit on, touch and feelIt is their responsibility to determine if they want the furniture before we set it up in their homeUnfortunately, the customer is unable to meet the requirements on our return policyWe offered to switch it out for a better model but the customer was unwilling to pay the higher priceWe have done all we can do to solve this matter.Thank you,***

I reject the business response because as I stated in my original complaint to you all, I have tried on several occasions to get in contact with Jeff and he has changed his cellphone numberHe has my phone number and he has not contacted meLike I have stated I just want my nightstand that I have paid for

The furniture was ready to shipThe customer decided that they did not want the furniture so we refunded the customer and canceled the order

The customer received a substantial discount for the floor model in “as is” condition and was aware of the small tear in the cushionHe is welcome to bring in the defective piece to exchange and pay the original amount if he wishes.Thank you, ***

I am rejecting this response because:
There are a number of reasons to reject this responseFirst being that there still has been no acknowledgement of the fact that I was personally aggressed by ***, the owners wifeShe spoke to me in a loud and crass manner that was BEYOND unprofessional and uncalled forShe implied that the furniture was 'trash' because it was touched by myself and my childrenAnd also implied that we didnt have the financial means to get something more expensiveSecondly I couldn't meet their requirements because the driver WOULD NOT leave the packing material even though I had asked him to twiceAlso the fact that your website says that returns are acceptable within certain regulations BUT your receipts say that there will ONLY be in store credit is just further proof that this company is somewhat conniving and deceivingThirdly, I was hung up on after being told in a very rude manner that I 'need to have th rules explained to me a bunch of times'When it was HER very own assistant who signed off on a refund and even had pick up for the furniture lined up for me like it was no problem and reassured me that ***'s attitude would calm down and she just needed some time to cool offEverything about this experience was unacceptable and abhorrent

I am rejecting this response
because:*** the saleswoman never mentioned that this item was discounted nor did she mention that it was in as in conditionThe receipt does not say as is condition, in fact the receipt states the price of $paid in full for a brand new couchI can provide proof of this receiptWhen purchasing the couch I found the tear and brought it to ***’s attention and told her that I would not be purchasing if it could not be replacedTo make a sale *** told me not to worry because of the location of the tear, is an indication of a manufacturer defect and it would be replaced at no chargeShe indicated to me that she would be ordering the replacement cushion that day and would have it in next weekWhen I called next week I could only get a hold of *** and he told me to call backI have been calling every week and only *** would answer and tell me the exact same thing*** would then go on to tell me that the replacement cushion was never ordered. So since *** indicated that this would be replaced at no charge due to a manufacturer defect that agreement needs to be honored
