On august 31, I received a phone call at work from a customer who was stated that she had been thru our drive thru and gotten a ham and cheese and when she bit into it she pulled out a piece of plasticI told her to bring in her receipt and the ham and cheese back in and we would replace itshe said she was on her wayabout minutes to an hour later she came inone of my employees came in back and said there was a customer that wanted to speak to the managerI looked up front (I was in the kitchen working as we were busy at the time)I seen that the customer had a ham and cheese container and box for onion chips on the counter.I realized that she was the person I spoke to on the phone so I had my kitchen employee get a ham and cheese for the girlWhen she herd me ask my front line girl to take the old ham and cheese and give her the new one she got irate and started cursing with a dinning room full of customersI told her she would have to calm down and she started cursing moreI went up on front line as she was yelling I told her I would refund the money on ham and cheese but not the onion chips because she did not complain about those in her phone call and the were half goneShe got angry and threw the food across the counter hitting one of my employees in the arm so I called the policeAs I was on the phone with dispatch she went out to her car and sat and waited for them to arriveI had gotten her money for the sandwich and onion chips, but I was waiting on the police to get there so they could give it to her as I did not want her back in the storeApproximately 30-minlater the police dispatch called back and asked if I needed them to still come outI went to see if the customer was still in the parking lot and she was pulling out then I told them them they were no longer neededI had a customer who wrote down her license plate and they gave it to me
