Review: Our pipewas frozen on 1/18/2015. We called Bob Rath plumbing . They send his son up at 10:00in the morning. He ended up being at my house until 7:00 not knowing what was going on. Through the course of the day and ALL THE EXTRA jobs, he said he was giving us a 15% discount. We were told that FIRST before going along with the work. He destroyed my house. NEVER used booties. Tracked mud on hardwood floors, carpets, etc. Bathrooms were HORRIBLE. Never once wiped his feet. By the end of the night he tracked the rest of the water and MUD up the steps. He was doing the bill and said Well Ill give you 10%. We were shocked! As he was writing he said NO, I cannot give you a discount , BOB will get mad cause it took me so long (He told us they dont want people to know he is the son) My husband called the next day because the HEAT WAS NOT working and spoke to the lady in the office, who is MRS> RATH. He told her the situation with the heat and she said she would send the guys (her two sons) My husband told her about the discount and she said she would find out and get back to us. She NEVER DID. I sent a CERTIFIED letter to Mr. Rath, explaiing EVERYTHING, Along with Pictures for the mess his son created at my home. I sent the letter January 19th. Mr. Rath REplied BY TELEPHONE ON Feb. 16th. He said NOTHING about his sons mess, and he said that he owes us 154.00 , because the bill is 1027.00 and he would send it in a week. HE NEVER SENT IT , HE WONT REPLY TO ANY CORRESPONDENCE. He should be ashamed!! This is fraud. You do not quote a price and take it back.Desired Settlement: I want the 154.00 discount in a check and if not, I am giving all the cleaning bills along with getting the carpet PROFESSIONALLY Done. I should have stopped payment on the check, but I do not do business like this.
