Macayo Restaurants

I met some girlfriends at the Macayos in Ahwatukee on Warner and 48th late Saturday night. R

I was one of the first 2 guest to arrive. And there was hardly any people in the restaurant. We chose to sat at the bar. Since we figured we would have some cocktails and some food. We were able to order our appetizers and a drink while we waited for the rest of the group. I will say there was a lot of excitement, since we hadn't seen all of us in a while. Well turns out that manager April, comes over to ask us to be quiet as other guest were being disturbed. So of we can quiet down or take it outside.not only had the server Mike not come back to welcome the rest of the party, let alone take our order. But now we were moving outside. So we questioned as to why we had to move. Regardless of the lack of guest. We just moved. Then still after a 10 minute wait, Mike comes over finally with the initial 2 ppl order, and says he wouldn't be able to serve us due to our behavior. I felt disrespected, humiliated. And was still hungry. So of course we were bothered with their lack of hospitality and customer service. Mike said "WELL LOOK HOW YOU'RE ACTING" you were screaming at my manager. so I said that we wouldnt be eating there. He said ok, you could just leave. So not only we're we not served, but also quicked out. When I asked for his managers name. All he said it was April. Claimed to not know her last name. We weren't welcome. Sadly it was a ghost town in the dinning room and bar area on a Saturday night. About 830-9. So we left, and across the street at Zipps. Where there were more people and more families in their establishment. And we're welcomed, with a friendly staff. And happy to be at work employees. We ended up having a $600 tab. Now I don't know what business could afford to lose any kind of business, due to customer service. If I were running this type of business. I would ensure that the entire table doesn't get treated for one of the guests behavior. And risk my business to lose money.
