Review: [redacted] came to my home in late [redacted]/early [redacted] of 2012 to replace a line on our central air conditioning - he quoted my husband and I $800. When he performed the work he said that he repaired it instead and charged us $650.(He cashed our check on */*/12) He did about two hours worth of work, I believe he had an employee with him. In late [redacted] the system stopped working. We called him after Labor Day and told him that the lined failed again. My husband spoke with him and asked that he come back to look at the line again. He didn't show up all fall right through the winter. Then in the late spring my husband called him again. My husband did speak with [redacted] and he said he would come look at the system. He never showed up. My husband left several messages and [redacted] has not returned our phone calls.Desired Settlement: $650.00 for work performed on my central air conditioning. The line was repaired and worked for about 5 to 6 weeks. We left several messages and [redacted] has not responded.

Response:
Dear Representative of Revdex.com,
In July or early August of 2012, upon inspection of 2nd floor air conditioning system, customer was advised that the system was leaking
Freon. A leak test was preformed and the HVAC equipment was leak free. Customer was advised that the leak was in piping from indoor
evaporator to outdoor condenser. The replacement of the piping would cost $800.00 which was agreed upon. System was totally empty of Freon.
A second leak test was preformed and the leak was found in the attic which we could repair instead of replacing the piping. There was no need
for customer to have the added expense of purchasing 50' of copper pipe. The fee is broken down as follows:
Total for 3 technicians ([redacted], and [redacted] $130.00 per hour is $390.00
8lbs of Freon @ $30.00 per pound is$ 240.00
Torch kit (gas, brazing rod) is $20.00
Total Amount paid $ 650.00
System was sealed, evacuated to 650 microns and charged properly. BACKGROUND: During three telephone conversations with Mr. [redacted],
he was advised a service call would incur at an additional charge. NO appointment was scheduled.
Response to Desired Settlement:
System was repaired and operational. In late August, according to customer the system stopped working.
This could be a new problem rather than the original leak, which was repaired .

Response:
Dear Representative,
In order to set the record straight, I want to state that I did the job for which I was paid and I fixed the problem
that was occurring at that time. I even found a way to save the customer money. When I left the customer's
house the system was working. As far as the customer complaining that I did not answer her phone call, that is true.
But she failed to mention that this was a service call that I did. I did not and do not have a service
contract with them. Please advise me of the outcome.
