Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/02/22) */
Re complaint noXXXXXXXX
*** ***
The purpose of this e mail is in response to the above complaint file no filed by Mr ***
Mr***, brought in his Nissan Armada for a paint job which included labor and part(s) purchases
Once Mr *** picked up the vehicle, he was given time to inspect for any concerns or commentsOn that particular day he did not raise anything and proceeded to sign a disclaimer releasing the shop of any further liabilitiesMr *** made an American Express payment which around 30-days charged backApparently, he claimed there were certain things that were not done correctly and as a courtesy the shop asked him to comeback for us to take a look at itWe tried to work with him, but Mr *** should keep in mind that we are not in the business of custom car servicesAt this time, I object to the validity of his complaintHe has his car under his possession driving around with a brand new paint plus labor service that was completed by us and also his money back in his pocket a total of 1,thAt is owed to usIn other words there was a service rendered and he is refusing to pay for it but opted to contact BBS and other regulatory agencies out of retaliation for the shop small claim case filed against himIn America, usually when a full service is rendered then the customer needs to pay for the work performed
I ask the BBS reviews my response and finds Mr *** claim doesn't have merit or validity to stand
Thank you,
Sincerely,
***

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/02/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I made payment with my American Express card on 10/30/prior to inspecting my vehicleOnce I inspected my vehicle I told *** the manager that the vehicle had a lot of overspray, paint runs, nicks pits high spots and places where it looked as if it wasn't sanded down prior to paint and looked as if it had been painted outside with a lot of particles on itThe bumper was missing bolts and the center grille for bumper was not installed and the right wheel well liner was never replaced as well as the lower valance panelI told *** I wasn't going to take the vehicle and left it there he apologized for the situation and said he would have them take care of itI went back two other times after being told by *** the vehicle was ready for pick up to find vehicle still had overspray parts were loose and not correctly installed, front end looked misaligned, paint runs, nicks dents had not been workedOn Nov XX XXXX went to pick up vehicle was told it was ready show up they still had not installed License plate holder or license plate, front end bumper was misaligned, bumber covers were loose, paint had runs nicks dents places were it was peeling of* was still wiping of the blue Marker markings off the vehicle that he wrote on vehicle on Oct 30, I decided to take my vehicle out of the shop because repairs were not being doneI took my vehicle to another shop to get an estimate of cost to repair my vehicle on Nov 11, On Nov XX XXXX I open the dispute with my American Express sent them pictures and documentation of the issues with the vehicleMacco never responded to dispute they had until Jan XX XXXX to respond and never did
Since then vehicle was partially repaired the front end Bumper Misalignment, loose bumper covers, missing bolts and hardware, loose or cross treaded boltsI was advised by the new facility to open a Revdex.com and BAR complaint so I can recuperate some of the cost for the repairs and so that this doesn't happen to anyone else
I filed the complaints to try to settle this matter out of the court and not out of spite like Mr*** *** statesI was unaware of the small claims case but if they wish to settle this in court we can
I agree with Mr*** *** Statement that in "In America, usually when a full service is rendered then the customer needs to pay for the work performed" but fails to mention that the full service was not rendered and was not up to standards, vehicle was returned in worst shape than when it went in
Should Revdex.com require any of this documentation as well as pictures I will gladly provide them to show that this claim has MERIT and VALIDITY
