I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, I was not contacted by Mr. [redacted], and my complaint was not immediately resolved.  I had to contact them again and now the problem has been resolved to my satisfaction.  I would not recommend a firm that threatens litigation to anyone.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Review: Received quote and there was an additional charge for a subfloor. The subfloor was installed. Macco's called the day after the installation and requested the balance of the money due; but, they only wanted the original quoted amount without the additional subfloor price. We paid promptly. The person said we would be mailed a receipt, as she could not print one out for whatever reason. She did state that the bill was complete and paid in full. Yesterday I received a phone call demanding an additional $270+. I asked what for and was told they had to remove the subfloor and put in a new subfloor, which was quoted at $113 additional.

If the bill was not complete and ready; why was I called and told to pay?

When the bill was paid, why were we told that it was fully paid?

Why was I called and told to pay all that additional money (over 200% over the quote)?Desired Settlement: We are willing to pay the additional quoted price for the subfloor ($113.00); and, the additional price be dropped.
