On July 31st, an unsolicited door to door salesman (Kimberly) knocked on my door and said she was selling magazines and booksShe said that the sell of the books would give her points and that those points will help her pay for collegeThat she had been doing this for years and had one year leftShe also said 70% of the sales money would go to herKimberly had a binder with her that contained a list of some of the books for saleShe also had a rate sheet in where the buyers would put a comment about herFor example: nice, helpful, etcI told her I would get set of books that totaled books for her to earn pointsThe books cost me $I gave her a check and she gave me a receiptKimberly said the books should arrive in days or soI thought about it over the weekend and decided to cancel my order so I called the number on the receipt and left a voicemailThe voice on the voicemail sounded a lot like KimberlyI then decided to just emailed the person who's email address was on the website on August 2nd (Edgar [redacted] ) because the receipt stated I had business days from the original date of sale to cancel my orderI looked at my bank account and noticed the check was cashed the same day I gave it to her (July 31st)I started to do some research online and came across a page in where a lady had the same experience I did with a magazine/book salesmanShe stated it was a scam and that she never got her books or money backI have been calling the phone number, leaving messages and not getting a call backI emailed Edgar [redacted] again on August 24th and no responseIt's been almost a year and I haven't got a refund or the magazines

Same as the last reviewer, Kimberly [redacted] came through the neighborhood telling a sob story about how she was trying to get points to get through school by earning points from selling magazine ordersAfter thinking about the transaction later that day, I decided to cancel my order abiding by the cancellation procedures, whereby I signed and returned the cancellation notice within the specified (day) time frameI have repeatedly called and emailed the contact information only to get a voicemail or someone that says someone else will call me back to process the orderIt has been two full months and I have yet to receive the magazines or my moneyTHIS ORGANIZATION AND DOOR-TO-DOOR OPERATION IS A TOTAL SCAMI will NEVER buy another item from a person wanting help after this experienceShe would be wise to NEVER show up at my door again

Yes, she did the same thing as last reviewer said. I bought the magazine and paid it in summer of 2017. I thought it's so hot and she tried to sell something, I wanted to help her. So I totally paid $171 to her. Till now I haven't received anything. I tried to call the phone number, nobody answer, left the voice mail, never got call back. It's totally SCAM.
