Sorry for the inconvenience regarding the service errorThe guest was call here for find out other person reservation the person was not even made the reservation here under that groupThere was [redacted] wedding group block here but non of the reservation made here at this location and as of contract room not consider as a group rate we try to explain her but she keep saying she got block the group here even my desk person was ask her name and contact info she was refused that so we do not have any contact way to herOn this point there is a cut of date is 25th aug and there is no room book so we cancel the group and email the all info to group booker...if this case one room not bookable with group rate and [redacted] was call here and we explain him and he understand everything after then [redacted] call as of name is [redacted] in this latter she was ask about his reservation and they are not ready to give any info so we can find the reservation OR we make reservation, if you need any more info please contact me on ###-###-####SincerelyVimal P

this night and power went beck after 2:hrs about 11:30pm and all gst stay around 2or days was very bed storm on this areaWe still offer to guest for $discount but they did refuses it's a natural disaster if any thing from hotel side we will give full refund but our all Guest are understand and they co-operate with us is there anything else ! can do for this guest please let me know thank you for contacting us..Thank you

When we arrived at the hotel, I asked the desk manager if the generator would be coming on. The power had gone out at the hotel and they were not equipped to host guests without heat and electricity. He continued to tell me that the generator was just starting up and to wait. We waited. The manager then told a crowd of potential guests that the owner was on his way to start the generator? What was the real story? The desk manager insisted any potential guests had to give a credit card to secure the room. We did so with hesitation. We felt that we were not being told the truth about the generator but were hopeful that a business that is supposed to offer hospitality would be equipped to care for guests. As the hours passed, I did ask to see the room we were assigned. I drove my car to the room, opened the door and looked in. I had the car lights on to see in the room. The bed was not made-comforter and sheets appeared as though people had slept in the room the day or night before. There was trash on the floor of the room and it smelled like take out Indian food. Even if there was power, the room had not been cleaned and could not be used. I went back and told the desk manager. The owner had not shown up and the generator was not working. This was about and a half hours after we arrived there. We spent the whole time waiting in the cold lobby but it was so cold and dark, had to go back to our car. I told the desk manager about the condition of the room. He told me there was no way that he could have it cleaned as there was no power! Also, no staff, just him! I asked was there another room available and he said no. So, here is a hotel that took a reservation and a credit card, but could not host a guest. I don't know what the respondent is talking about $credit? That hotel should not be serving the public! To me, this is clear fraud and they stole our money. I don't know how anyone stayed in that place for 2-days much less 2-hours. When we eventually gave up hope of the generator coming on or getting my credit card information back, there was still no power. I want my money refunded to my credit card as again, this business committed fraud.

Review: We lost power in an ice storm and called the hotel for availability. They told me they had one more room so we booked it. When we arrived at the hotel that evening, the lights were out. The young man at the front desk said they were waiting for the generator to "kick on" and that he called the manager for assistance as many people were now waiting in the lobby. I told him I did not want to give my credit card for imprint as we would not stay if there were no power and no generator. He assured me that the generator was coming on at any second and that the manager was en route. We waited for over an hour(my husband, toddler daughter, and dogs-this was one hotel that would let us bring dogs) but no generator was coming on. The hotel was dark and getting colder. I asked the young man if I could look at the room available to see if it was even in good condition while still waiting for the generator to power up the hotel. I went to the room and opened the door. From the car lights and my flashlight, I could see the room was not clean. Trash on the floors, bed not made and it smelled like Indian talk out food. I went back to the desk and told the young man. He told me they had no staff and no power to now clean the room. I told him that I wanted my credit card information back as there was no way we could even try to stay here. They had falsely advertised an available room. It was uninhabitable for any person or dog and I was certainly not staying in a cold, dark, dirty room with my toddler daughter. The young man at the desk refused to give me my credit card imprint back. After waiting longer to try to resolve the issue, the generator was not working, no manager and we returned to our cold house where we made a fire and took turns staying awake to keep our family as warm as possible. I understand the purpose of a cancelation policy however the hotel did not hold up their end. The room had no power and had not been cleaned for the next guest.Desired Settlement: I do not want my credit card refunded the approximately $120.00.
