Regarding the complaint filed by this individual We regret that there was clearly a
misunderstanding in the communications that we had with her We would be unable to diagnose the cause of death of a foal just by looking at it, and would need to perform a necropsy in order to make any such pronouncements Our records show that no necropsy was performed, nor was she billed for a necropsy, only a small charge for the farm call As to her never having received a bill, again our records show that she was sent a monthly statement from June of through May of to the billing address provided by this individual None of these statements were ever returned by the post office, until May of With no other means of contacting this individual we turned this accound over to a collection agency at this time to clear it from our books.We regret that this individual was dissatisfied with the service that we provided, and have contacted the collection agency and asked them to forgive the debt Had this individual bothered to contact us directly, or to respond to any of the numerous statements that were sent to her We would have been happy to resolve this issue with her to her satisfaction years ago without turning her over to collections
