Our position on Case # XXXXXXXX is that the customer called into our place of business and she asked for a side mirror for her vehicle. We did not have a used one so we located an...
Aftermarket new mirror that showed it was the same. We ordered that mirror it arrived and she came and picked it up. We pulled the mirror out of the box to show her the mirror and she looked over it. We snapped the back cover onto the mirror for her. She then left with mirror after she inspected it. A week later she called back upset that it was not the exact mirror after she already installed it on her vehicle. We did not know it did not have a puddle lamp on this aftermarket mirror. She did not notice this as well since she installed it on her vehicle. After we were notified about this issue we offered to send a call tag for the incorrect mirror since she was in a different state. We offered to give her a full refund of the part since it was incorrect. She declined working with us to help refund the money on our behalf.

because they wanted me to do 4 hours of labor and go for a long period of time with NO MIRROR! and I had neglected to see a light because it was DAYTIME! I said they should have gotten the correct one and then swapped it, that wasnt good enough for them, the mirror also does not stay in position, when you shut off the truck and turn it back on it goes to the bottom right which is an issue as it has to be re-positioned and that doesnt happen instantly, I have to put the window down and manually push it to a spot before it will go! They assured me that only the "exact match" would work and that it WAS the exact match! Furthermore I wont know if it has a defrost mode that works until it gets cold enough! how do you test that? Point is, their man messed up when he ordered it, despite having the VIN number of the vehicle!
