outlined and contracted in the insurance estimate.The estimate was approved by the insurance company and also sent to ** *** before any work was started.[the roof rack was not included on this estimate and we were not paid for it...therefore we cannot issue him any refund] regarding our payment policy... When he dropped off the car, ** *** signed an "authorization to repair" form which also stated our payment policy. He was again told before he came to pick up the car, that we only accept cash for deductibles and are not set up for credit or debit cards. When the owner came to pick up his car, he became very irate that the roof rack had not been replaced and would not even discuss how to resolve the issue. He jumped into his car and tried to flee without paying, almost running over the owner and possible pedestrians. We immediately called the insurance company to report his actions and made them aware of his concern regarding the roof rack. We take pride in our work and are respected throughout the industry and the community.We go the extra steps to work with our customers and the insurance companies to settle claims.Unfortunately, ** ***'s attitude and behavior did not allow us to assist him.At this point, the owner will need to call *** to work out a payment to replace his roof rack. update as of 5/26/16: ** *** did contact ***. A *** claims supervisor was sent out to ** *** to re-inspect his car. The *** supervisor verified that *** completed all repairs properly as specified and contracted in the estimate of record !!! *** reported back to us that they also prepared a supplement estimate (as per protocol) to settle with the owner for the roof rack
