Review: Macmillian refuses to refund their faulty services if the activation codes are sold in stores. They only refund online sales.My instructor required the speechclass web coursespace and became dissatisfied with the quality within the first week of the semester. The instructor support was faulty and it has now become useless to me as a student. I contacted them by both email and phone. My email was ignored and I was outright denied a refund by phone. The phone representative insisted that I must seek a refund from the location which I purchased the activation code since they had no online record of sale. The fact that I had registered their product with a legitimate code did not matter. Bottom line: I was sold software with a faulty component and I have been denied a refund by the publisher, who passed the responsibility down the line to a small business.Their name is printed on the material. Their website is where the fault lies. To have the burden of refund placed on a bookstore that had nothing to do with the issues that led to seeking a refund simply because they sold the activation code is preposterous.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for only the activation code I purchased. The instructor functionality is faulty and it is not useable to me as a student.

I have received no communication from Macmillan Higher Education that I am aware of. I cannot rule out letters getting lost in the mail or missed phone calls while I was unavailable, but to my knowledge they have not attempted communication.
