MacNeil Motors Reviews (%countItem)

Original sales contract different from the contract MacNeil Motors has on file.
The original contract from the day of purchase on May 28th, 2019 states that I have traded in a 2013 *** 2 with a lien of $23,000. The salesman who sold me the 2016 *** from MacNeil Motors in Martensville, SK is *** and the name of the Business Manager from MacNeil Motors is *** The *** 2 belonged to my partner *** She was financing the vehicle through *** from *** in Saskatoon, SK. *** has wanted to trade in her car for something bigger. That's when we went to MacNeil Motors. Once she had decided on the *** it was brought upon us that she had needed a co-signer for the *** I had agreed to co-sign so MacNeil Motors took my information. A couple days later, they had contacted me stating that they needed a copy of my paystubs, drivers license and Indian status card which I then sent to them. On May 28th, they had contacted both *** and myself stating that all went well and we would need to come in to sign the final papers. I was at work and told *** that I would meet her at *** in Saskatoon where MacNeil Motors was having a sale and asked us to meet there. I was in a hurry so I asked to sign my papers so I could leave back to work. As it turns out, that loan was through *** in just my name and *** was not on any of the files. As a couple, we had decided that this was fine. MacNeil motors had estimated *** trade in car, the 2013 *** 2 at $23000 which was included on the sales contract through *** On the day of June 22, 2019. *** notified me that her regular payment of $408.53 was taken from her account. *** was in contact with *** and they notified her that the lien was not paid out by MacNeil Motors. *** emailed *** the *** Finance Agreement Payout Request form in which she forwarded to me. This form was to be filled out by MacNeil Motors and sent back to *** I took this form in to MacNeil Motors and when arriving, I asked them if I could have another copy of my contract files. The contract that they gave me today states that the lien on the *** 2 for trade in is estimated at $10,000. I mentioned that it was different from the one I have and the business manager *** (who was covering for *** stated that he was unsure why. He mentioned that once a vehicle is sold, all files are destroyed but after I asked for the rest of my files again he stated that they are locked upstairs but he was too busy to get them for me. *** stated that he would try have them for me on Monday, June 24th, 2019. *** also stated that the payment of $408.53 will be reimbursed but he would not sign the payout agreement until Monday either.

Desired Outcome

I would like the lien for my partner *** 2013 *** 2 paid off in the amount of $9,692.82 by MacNeil Motors and the $28,581.25 loan from *** that is in my name for the 2016 *** that was purchased from MacNeil motors as a result of all inconveniences

Paperwork discrepancy.
Told it was warranty and it's not not
I purchased a 2016 *** van from MacNeil Motors October 1st I was told I was purchasing extended warranty for $2,500 it's not warranty it's equality lost advantage which I don't want I never want it I want my money back they won't even discuss it with me they told me to contact a sure way that that it would be prorated and given back to me I sure we won't give me any money looking at my paperwork they have charged me $495 for document fees and $495 for lien fee there should be no liens on a vehicle coming from a dealership I just want the $2,500 for the warranty I wasn't given back to me pepper what's a sales associate that I dealt with he was so pushy he even came to my house to get the papers signed on the assure way papers there is no signature at all therefore there is no legal contract so they should just give me my money back

Desired Outcome

I would like to $2,500 from assureway giving back to me plus $495 documentation fee I was charged twice for. I hv had to put 3000.00 worth of work into vehicle in last month. It should hv been covered by the warranty that pepper supposedly sold me for 2500.00

Charged us two dock fees, and did not honor the extended warranty policy.
Problem date: 10/23/2018
Purchase Date: 09/26/2017
Model Number: 2016 ***
Order Number; For Insurance: ***, For Receipt of Complaint Payment: ***
Sales Rep: ***
Payment: $3,800 and two dock payments of $495.
Payment Method: Line of Credit

Desired Outcome

I want them to refund the dock fees and the $3,800 extended warranty that did not cover anything as the sales rep promised.

We tried to be nice and to be polite, but they pretty much brushed us under the rug after we wouldn't over pay. Not a trust worthy business.

They tried to sell us a 2017 with around 70,000km that stunk like smoke and extremely dirty and had a hole in the back bumper from traveling on gravel roads for 32,000$. They said the would give us free oil changes for life, 3 details and a detail that we could not tell that it was smoked in or hardly used also 90 days with no payments, and a 2 year warranty that covers everything.
We took it home to try it out then did some research and found out that a used 2017 with less Km is around 25,000$. I sent them the info that night. They didn't get back to me till later saying "we will be happy to know the price drastically changed". So we went in and they did drop the price but now we do not get the oil changes for life or 90 days of no payments. I said we will not take the vehicle if there is not 90 days for free payments, the oil changes, and detail. We originally went in for a used Van but they pushed the new on us. I asked to see there used ones but they kept saying this was our best option. So they said they would give us 6 oil changes, 3 details, and 1000$ cash back. But, no extra warranty either. So we decided to go with it.
We left it there for the night cause they wanted to detail it which we were totally fine with. I received a call the next day saying it was ready to be pick up or delivered. We were super excited so we went to go pick it up and had to wait around 2 hours once we got there. We get inside the van and there is still smoke residue and dust all over the windows and rear view mirror and the stow and go seat compartments still had all the dirt and toys in it from the previous owner. As soon as you walked up to it you could see dirt on the outside rockers and bottom of the doors. We arranged to drop it off the next day to have it detailed again. Which it looked great the next day. But, now we signed papers on the Saturday and we were told we would get our cash back within 48 hours. It is now the Friday after so almost a full week and we have not received our cash back. My husband keeps calling and they keep saying we are sorry we will send it shortly but nothing. I only hope it is true that they put on file that we get 6 free oil changes and 3 free details.

My son was purchasing a vehicle from the dealership. He required a co-signer. My wife agreed. The salesman delivered the vehicle to a parking lot in the closest town, yorkton.he had my son inside and then asked My wife to come in and sign some papers. He rushed her into signing e or 4 spots ,stating he has to get back to Martinsville fast because it was getting dark, he didn't let her read what she was signing.before she got out he told her her name would come off the contract after 6 months, as the co-signer.recently My son has not paid the payments and the bank phoned my wife asking for the monies owing, telling her that she is the sole purchaser of the vehicle, not the co-signer as originally intended.

Desired Outcome

I would like the proper initial commitment My wife was told , to actually happen.she was to be a co-signer and her name was to come off the contract after 6 months.

Excellent service, Thks Tony. We love our new suv ð???ð??ð??

Purchased a used vehicle from MacNeil Motors, and one of the reasons of the purchase was a $500 *** gas gift card. Did not receive the gift card at the time of purchase (because ***'s system wasn't working, so we were told), and still have not received the card over 3 months later. Also told, that the key was broken and that they (***) would look for another one, and haven't heard back. It took several hours to process the sale of the vehicle. Arrived at 9am, and did not leave before noon, as it took several hours for the financing. Also, company does not tell you price of vehicle upfront, and it's all after, and what your monthly payment's could be. There was no honest sticker price to any vehicle on the lot. I have called several times, and had gone out of my way to drive to Martensville twice, to collect my gas card, and the potential of an extra key, and no one knows who I am, or what I'm looking for.

Desired Outcome

The $500 gas gift card which was promised at the time of purchase, and a 2nd key. The original key is broken, and only the electronic component works.
