I hired this company to transport my four cats fo an out of state move The setup process was easy enough, and I had a good feeling The driver showed up, and was easily years old, so I had to manage caging and carrying the animals down from the apartment I had arranged for two of the cats to travel together because they are fairly inseparable, but he only arrived with cages that could fit one cat per I was not told to supply litter, which was apparently an issue, but the driver got over itWith that, they were on their way When he arrived, he started pulling the litter trays out of the cages in the parking lot I asked if that seemed like a good idea, but he assured me it was fine and seemed annoyed that I was questioning his methods Again, since he was elderly, I walked the first two cages upstairs to the apartment When I was on my way back down for the third, I see my cat running away from the truck at a speed I did not know she was capable of He was complaining that she bit his elbow, which would be a first, as none of my animals have ever bitten anyone To say the least, I was irate, and made no attempt to hide my opinion of his competence Rather than accepting that he made the mistake, he proceeded to chew me out for being unreasonable and offered several invitations to start a fist fight so he could teach me "the kind of manners a little *** like [me] needs to learn" He seriously begged me and taunted me over and over again to fight him because he didn't like the fact that I was enraged over this incident When he wasn't taunting me, he was on the phone with his boss trying to field damage control because when I called the owner he seemed shocked to hear what his guy was spouting out The drivers parting words were "I'm going to keep looking for that *** cat so I can find it, snap its neck, and come back here to shove it up your ***." Real nice We are a couple that can't have children Our cats are our babies We spent most of the night walking around trying to locate her, but there are too many ways she could have gone We're only two people having our first day in a new town If you use these guys, you better hate your pets Needless to say, I will not be paying them the outstanding balance Services were not appropriately rendered
My wife and I cannot begin to describe how wonderful Michael and PETS isWe were planning a move from Boston to Denver with our four month old twins and our dog Winston who is our childGiven that we could not take Winston on the plane, we planned to make the drive with the entire family over daysHowever weeks before we were going to leave our babies entered a sleep regression (parents will know what this means) which essentially means they were not sleeping much at nightWhen they don't sleep, we don't sleepWe realized that driving cross country with minimal sleep was a dangerous and bad ideaMy wife and kids and I could fly but what to do with Winston weeks before we had to move? We found PETS online and gave Michael call realizing that we would likely be out of luck as we were weeks away from the travel datesThe first thing Michael did was explain to us how he/his drivers would transport Winston either in their car or fly into Boston and drive Winston in our carHe was clear about how often the stop, what they do when they have to go to the bathroom, that they use drive-throughs to avoid leaving pets in the car unattended, etcHe also highlighted his USDA certificate and Revdex.com ratingMore importantly, he was nice and sympathetic with our situation - we were desperateHe had drivers that could have done the job but would have been a couple of days too early and was going to be a couple of days too lateFinally, he took sympathy on us and said he would do the drive himself on the days we neededWe couldnt believe our luckHe was so genuine on the phoneBefore we booked anything, though, we did our due diligence and looked up his reviewsWe found very negative review on Revdex.com which we asked him about (it was so over the top that I could not actually believe it)He was more than open to discuss the circumstances around the customer complaint and at the end of the discussion I had no doubts that the fault was not on his companyThe paperwork was extremely easy and everything was setHe arrived on time and I picked him up from the airportWe had Winston in the carWinston is a somewhat skittish dog but once he bonds to someone he showers them with love non-stopBy the time we got home from the airport (minutes) Winston was already giving Michael kissesMichael took off at 11am and we flew out to Denver with our kids in tow the following dayMichael called us every few hours to give us updates and texted us pictures along the wayMichael made the drive in under hours and we were reunited with Winston the following dayWinston did not want to leave Michael by the end of the driveHaving Winston happy and taken care of was invaluable to usMichael and PETS was so flexible, down to earth, and caringI was clear that he was an animal lover and at no time did I have any doubts that my Winston was receiving the best of careMichael is a honorable person who values providing high quality serviceI would use PETS again any day and recommend them to everyone I knowMichael and PETS came through for us at the last minute during a very stressful time in our lifeWe will always be thankful for what they did for us
