Review: my sister [redacted] was involved in a "not at fault accident and her insurance coverage is with Progressive insurance she was told she had to bring her car to Mac's Automotive for repairs. she brought the car there for the repairs and she signed a work order waiver allowing Mac's to do the work. once Mac's started the 'tears own' to begin the work they called [redacted] to tell her that they noticed damage from a previous accident that needed to be repaired- if they did the work it would cost her $1200 out of pocket or she could bring it back to the last repair shop to do that work along with the current repairs -[redacted] contacted Daves Auto repairs he asked if he could see what wasn't done and Macs estimate on the current repairs - [redacted] called Macs and informed them that Dave said he would do all the repairs needed - after that phone call Macs told [redacted] that it would cost her (out of pocket) $113 to put her car back together- I question why would it cost [redacted] anything to get what resulted in an estimate -- an estimate that Progressive told her to get -- Macs said that [redacted] signed the waiver and it states all REPAIR cost - he would not release the car until the $113 was paid - my reply was that there was not any repairs done to the car I asked if he would [redacted] a copy of the waiver - he said sure -[redacted] never got her copy and [redacted] paid the $113 brought that car to Dave and he said the part Mac said needed to repaired was never quoted for repair he did not change it - Macs also told [redacted] that if she would be in another accident that the car would kill her -- if the car is that unsafe why not put it in writing and have Progressive total the car-- fyi the previous accident was on December 31, 2012 Direct General claim 1201701-312-01Desired Settlement: 1) refund [redacted] her money

2) reword their work waiver, if what they do results in just an estimate when NO repairs are done

3) if the vechile is unsafe to drive word their estimate/repairs to state such
